I’m from Missouri. My mother was from the Tennessee hills I grew up on this music knew a lot of the Stanley brothers , Little Jimmy Dickens , the Carter family and so many others. I was a teenager in the 70’s and didn’t appreciate these old timers now in my 60’s and proud my mother introduced me to mountain music.

In my opinion the Stanley Brothers do not get nearly enough credit for their abilities and contributions to all American music!!
