This song is good and has a catchy guitar riff and chorus but it rehashed a lot from "I'll Cry For You" from Europe's "Prisoners in Paradise" album.
This is the type of thing Europe announced on their reunion that they wouldn't do, would not try to emulate their sound and rehash old songs just to sound 80's or maintain the sound they had. Personally one song or two it would be good to hear on a new album but not on every new one. This is the sound we would hear if Europe was decided to rehash their past hits and singles except with the powerhouse vocals of Joey Tempest.
Don't get me wrong, I like Kee Marcello's albums and his guitar playing in Europe and solo, but I would prefer if he had his main role on guitar playing, solos and backing vocals like he's doing on his new side-project "Kee Of Hearts".
What I mean is that although it's good and sounds new at the same time we know this isn't a fresh sound, it's like a dejà vu remembering the sounds of the past albums.
I would love to hear Kee play a special gig, or small tour with Europe in 2018 and 2021 celebrating the 30th Anniversary of "Out Of This World" and "Prisoners in Paradise" albums along with new re-mixes of the albums and including extra CD's with demo tracks/alternate versions and live recordings and DVD's/Blu-ray of Europe's shows from 1987-1992 show's with Kee Marcello during the 2nd leg of The Final Countdown World Tour, Out Of This World Tour and Prisoners in Paradise Tour.
Sony, MTV Europe (plus Italy and Sweden), Swedish TV SVT and Chilean TV have footage gaining dust on their archives that could be digitally remastered in HD and released worldwide.
Kee has a good biography "The Rock Star That God Forgot" that should have been translated at least to English and released worldwide.
I liked the re-recordings of Europe tracks and his own solo album tracks but some like the Europe songs, could gain new dimension if were sang by Joey Tempest, if he was willing to collaborate with Kee Marcello again on an album containing Europe classics with Kee on guitar.
I think there should be a good talk between the current Europe and Kee Marcello with or without their respective lawyers and bury the hatchet once and for all.
Sony Music owns their back catalogue from Epic Records and now Europe own their 6 albums since the reunion as they had started their own label Hell & Back Recordings (ex-Hell & Back AB) when they reunited in 2003.
After this settlement of copyrights and quotas from the band between John Norum and Kee Marcello, that claims he had bought Norum's part in the band (but was probably fooled by the manager at the time, Thomas Erdtman), they could pull the right strings to release all that footage and release demos tracks, alternate versions, live recordings with Sony's license deal with the artists.
Sony should stop re-releasing best of and compilations and do some effort to best optimize the opportunity to make a deal with the band and ex-member of the band and release relevant products for the fans and they surely would get good revenue from that.
I don't want to disrespect any fan and/or the musician, this is just a sincere opinion from a fan. I liked the Redux-Europe album and also like the Europe (Le Baron Boys) tracks on "Scaling Up". This song "Don't Miss You Much" is the song from this album that got my attention, apart from the re-recorded Europe demos that I liked instantly but it sounds much like "I'll Cry For You". The demo songs I would like to hear on a remastered / remixed edition of the original ones or having a re-recording of the songs with the same musicians but that's wishful thinking and in a dream world that would be possible.

Well what you have written is exactly what I always thought should happen. If current Europe lineup did Final Countdown 30th anniversary mini-tour, they should definitely consider doing Out Of This World 30th anniversary world tour with Kee playing his own somewhat legendary solos from live, and not have them butchered by Norum like they have been since 2004 reunion.
Such a pity Kee did not join the band then. Two such established guitarists would only make Europe sound better and stronger, and what pleasure would that be to see each of them playing their own solos just like they should sound (even though in his time in Europe Kee proved he can play Norum's solos flawlessly while it doesn't work like this the other way around as Norum's technique has steadily deteriorated over the years while Kee's guitar playing is still top notch.
I find new europe stuff pretty respectable, however, I keep this Kee song more in my mind that any other europe song from late time. This is more pop, easy listening, bryan adams sound. John norum will never play this type of music. There is no way Kee return, I think. Of course it will be tremendous to have both guitar players again since miliennial show. It is sad to realize great times will never come back, hope Im wrong at this. Cheers from Mexico

Great Song!!! Melodic, Powerful and Meaningful. The Lead guitar parts reinforce the Melody in the vocals and convey the sentiment of the lyrics perfectly.Yes, there is a "I'll Cry for you" type of vibe to this song but how can Kee rip off a song that he wrote? I know a few people will say Joey wrote it (Joey Co-wrote it with Nick Graham) but the guitar parts were Kee's. It's very Hard being a musician and trying not to be YOU. This is a song containing Kee Marcello doing what he does best... being KEE MARCELLO. I know a little bit about what I'm talking about since i have been a professional musician and teacher of music virtually my whole life.

Je ne comprends pas les gens qui disent que cette chanson est presque la copie de la chanson "I'll Cry For You".
J'ai écouté les deux chansons et à part quelques notes de musique qui sont le style unique de Kee, les deux chansons ne se ressembles vraiment pas. Juste Kee qui à gardé sa façon extraordinaire de jouer sur sa guitare, ce qui fait tout son charme dans toutes ses chansons. Beaucoup de gens disent que le groupe de l'Europe ont su changer leur style de musique car l'Europe ne voulait pas faire la même chose que dans le passé. Ok, ils ont changé leur style et ont fait quelques bonnes chansons, mais leur dernier album est sans artifices. Trois chansons seulement sur leur dernier album est très bon le reste trop banal. Changer de style, ok, mais parfois, il peut aussi être dangereux. Beaucoup de gens disent également que Kee reste sans changements. Moi, je dis que ces gens pensent n'importe quoi. Kee à évolué d'une autre façon que l'Europe d'aujourd'hui. Un bon exemple avec la chanson "Fix me" de l'album Scaling up, il y a des sons modernes insérés dans la chanson et je trouve que Kee Marcello à fait un travail incroyable. Il y a une chose qui est certaine, c'est que si l'Europe avait gardé Kee au lieu de Norum, le dernier album de l'Europe aurait été meilleurs avec Kee, même si Norum est un excellent musicien, Kee à toujours joué plus dans le détail ce qui fait toute la différence. Kee Fait partie des légendes dans le monde de la musique et il gardera toujours ce statut. Bravo à mon héro Kee Marcello, continue comme çà, tu es épatant.

I do not understand people who say that this song is almost the copy of the song "I'll Cry For You".
I listened to both songs and apart from some music notes that are Kee's unique style, the two songs do not really look like each other. Just Kee who kept his extraordinary way of playing on his guitar, which makes all his charm in all his songs. Many people say that the group of Europe knew how to change their style of music because Europe did not want to do the same thing as in the past. Ok, they have changed their style and made some good songs, but their last album is straightforward. Three songs only on their last album is very good the rest too banal. Change your style, ok, but sometimes it can be dangerous too. Many people also say that Kee remains without changes. I say that these people think anything. Kee has evolved in a different way than Europe today. A good example with the song "Fix me" from the album Scaling up, there are modern sounds inserted in the song and I find that Kee Marcello did an incredible job. One thing that is certain is that if Europe had kept Kee instead of Norum, the last album of Europe would have been better with Kee, even if Norum is an excellent musician, Kee always played more in detail what makes all the difference. Kee is one of the legends in the world of music and will always keep this status. Congratulations to my hero Kee Marcello, continue like that, you're amazing.
