Johnstone Pipe Band at the 2024 British Championships in Forres

Johnstone Pipe Band's performs its March, Strathspey and Reel set at the 2024 British Pipe Band Championships in Forres. Full results for the day's competitions are at bit.ly/forres24.
The bands selection of tunes was:
March: The Young MacGregor - J. MacGregor
Strathspey: Caledonia Society of London - traditional
Reel: Mrs MacPherson of Inveran - George Stewart McLennan
Johnstone Pipe Band is playing under the direction of Pipe Major Donald MacKay and the Leading Drummer is Gavin Orr. Ten grade bands competed in the Grade One contest and Johnstone Pipe Band was placed eighth.
The championships were organised by The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association in conjunction with YBD Music Ltd. They were held on Saturday, 8 June 2024 in Grant Park, Forres.
