Mario Party 4 is a 2002 party video game developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo for the GameCube. The game is the fourth installment in the Mario Party series and is the first game in the series to be released for the GameCube. Like the previous games in the series, it features eight playable characters: Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Wario, Donkey Kong, Princess Daisy, and Waluigi from the Mario franchise, who can be directed as characters on 6 themed game boards. The objective is to earn as many stars as possible, which are obtained by purchase from a single predefined space on the game board. Each character's movement is determined by a roll of a die, with a roll from each player forming a single turn. Each turn is followed by a minigame in which characters compete for coins they can use to purchase items and stars.

Fun fact: the rarest events in the entire game and probably the entire series are:
1: Managing to summon King Boo on Haunted Bash with 150 coins and stealing 3 stars.
2: Wearing a Bowser Suit on the Ukiki Junctions on Seaside Soiree allows you to pick the path you want instead of being random
3: Passing Bowser himself with a Bowser Suit on Gnarly Party gives you a fortune
4: Winning the last 5 turn ticket lottery
5: ACTUALLY OBTAINING THE BOWSER SUIT

@@thoseamazinggames Now actually obtaining the Bowser Suit in this game is a whole other ball game. It's so rare that I've read one comment on another video saying they've been playing the game for 20 years and they only got a Bowser Suit the other day. It happens on Bowser spaces but they're the rarest outcome, and apparently it's just slightly more likely to happen if you're in last place with 0 coins and 0 stars. Just rumors though
