Great progress! I’m hoping I can get my 2 sheepadoodles to stay on their place and not tear after my cat. It’s been a big problem for us.

How long can you leave a dog in place?

All depends on the level of training. You want to slowly build up, so a dog that’s just learning might only be able to do it for five or ten seconds, whereas some of our dogs that we use here at the training facility frequently will go hang out on place for an hour or two between lessons.
