A glorious performance by vidwan RKM. The maestro has developed his own inimitable style which is wholly satisfying. Classicism, tradition, manodharma, excellence in sruthi /layam are his forte. With his rich tonal quality, he presented kritis with bright expression of sAhitya & bhakti bhAvam. As always, his unique handling of AlApanais, neravals & kalpanaswarams were appreciable. (The RTP, in which he constructed a dynamic swara patterns was amazing 👍) Starting with sriranjani (brOchEvArevarE where the saint praises perumAL) he followed up with janaranjani (smaraNE sukhamu where the saint States that it's joyful to remember perumAL tirunAmam) a melting malayamArutham (manasA etulOrtunE where the saint directs his mind to chant perumAL's nAmam) craving chintAmani (devi brova samayamidE by syama sastry) RTP in kambhoji (interspersed with nAttai & kApi) - pallavi 'dAsarathE karunA payO nidhE inakula tilakA' suddhadhanyAsi (bhAvamulOna by annamAchArya) a jAvali in kApi (vadaninE by poochi srinivasa iyengar) & concluding with rAma dhyAna slokam in YK + NNK (vAmE bhUmi ) Wonderful✨The violin support by vidushi charumathi raghurAman was remarkable, matching well with the vocalist's skill. We , self and Mrs,never miss to listen his concert with the recognised accompaniments. In my experience listening concerts for well over 70 years Rkm is outstanding in all depth, be it alpaca,kreithis, swaras etc.kachitham . BLessings to him.

RKM and Charumati combination is simply superb. It's as if we are listening to KVN and TNK. NCB reminds us of Sivaraman sir. They form a great trio.
