Unless they got a way to control air traffic for everyday random flights, I just dont see this becoming the future mode of transportation. We have enough dumb drivers on the ground, dumb drivers in the air trapped in a death box and free falling to absolute destruction is very viable and scary to think about.
@antifugazi If your talking taxi and bus type flights then its already being done in Dubai I believe. Though I'm unsure what the cost involved is. Even then, it would be too limited and possibly too expensive for the general public.
1)How much dd it cost u to build that drone?? 2)What is the weight of the battery and how much voltage and current does the Battery supply?? 3) What is the weight of the frame having intruded all the components?? 3)How do i build my own propellers, brushless motors and ESC/speed controllers 4)One of the critical things is,,by the way the Engine of the drone/the Flight controller??
This will be safer then jets. An electric motor has one moving part.. the stator.. electric motors run forever.. there's more parts in a jet engine and plane that can fail.. this is simple in reality..
But at the same time jet engines can be grounded for a single nick in the casing for safety reasons, doubt the same kind of care will be taken with these.
These will be as common place as Toyotas in another 10 years I believe. Joby in America and a few others in Europe and of course China. So much more simple than the software for driving in such close proximity as cars are required to do. There’s a lot more room up there and closest point of approach can be in hundreds of meters not centimeters.
Yeah. Im actually surprised how fast tgis tech has developed. But air traffic laws will prevent ppl from just stepping in and go, despite them being easy to fly
You'll be surprised how quickly you can go from hundreds, even thousands of meters to a mid air collision without either of the pilots knowing, or they know, but even with such knowledge, a simple mistake or misinterpretation can cause the same outcome. The reality is regardless of how much space their is in the sky, when you fill it with flying cars, you're creating a drastically dangerous situation for both existing pilots as well as people on the ground, with the increased probability of an accident not just in the sky, but that metal and hardware has to crash down somewhere.
Imagine if it malfunctions when you land & the propellers don't stop. What do you do? Take a chance by getting out & getting sucked in and sliced up? No thanks..... I'll wait until these things are perfected in another 2 decades possibly
I hope it has strong airbags for crash landing protection. The noise as well is too high.
噪音以目前人类的基础科学是不可能消除的 只能戴个降噪耳机
If you change the model of propeller you can get out the sound
Big ass drone
That's exactly what it is
What you got? I'll buy one before a electric car
GLORIOUS Ass

Absolutely
Would have to be automated at a minimum or taxi pilots

LMAOOOOO
这个车没有操纵杆 靠5g和卫星自动驾驶 不用担心操作问题
Add a parachute option that deploys automatically if there was to be a system failure like some mini plane have
If they want this test to seem legit they should destructively remove more than 1 of the props mid flight to prove how safe it really is

Why did the propeller stop???? FTS
They hopefully use predetermined flight paths away from houses etc

Freely rotating sharp blades at 1000+RPM, while its usage is in the city and near people. All I can say is this is bullshit.
This is nothing like a jet and will never replace it, at least in the near future
in short, a 4-wing helicopter could provide side protection for these rotating knives
Thats it in my mind😂😂😂👏👏
Un helicoptero, ne es más que eso, peligrosa las aspas se presta para el accidente

"These will be as common place as Toyotas in another 10 years I believe." 🤓☝️
Yeah no this guy is SCHIZO
Eject seat would be nice.
So basically it was all droned that's how they tested it so they stopped an engine from working
Cuanto cuesta ése carro volador
Noisy as heck...
As this gets better it will overtake cars for transportation.. it would be far better for the earth in some ways..
It should be illegal to make these without wings. Wings provide extra safety.
Think of how many flying creatures that will be sliced and diced...not to mention people when it crashes 😅
Nolose RICK PARESE PELIGROSO
Это всё хуйня!!! Нужно винты в коллекторы засунуть и сделать их поворотными на 360°
I want it!!!
