It figures that people who are quick to put someone down wouldn't be able to rise above and acknowledge that Gene is a smart, good looking guy who played a villain perfectly. Acting isn't easy to do let alone do well. I saw this movie when it came out on vhs in the 80s and It's basically what it is; a cool, fun action movie, & Gene basically did a perfect job. Hauer's also great in Hobo with a Shotgun - check it...
I loved this movie i first watced it when i was 7 years old and seen it 100 times... The ending was great !.. I think i still have this on Dvd somewhere in my closet
If you made a list of the greatest Kiss songs, Rock and Roll All Night and Deuce would probably be in the top five. Paul probably does sing more songs live. They're both lead singers really.

Saying Gene is the lead singer of Kiss is misleading but so is saying Paul Stanley is the lead singer. Go through all the Kiss songs, they each take the lead vocal pretty equally
He was just as good in the Miami Vice episode as Newton Blade. In my opinion he could have been a recurring bad guy just like the characters Calderon or Lombard.
