In todays video we will go over the Jolla gen 3 banned paddles officially from USA Pickleballs review process. The paddles will likely not come back and are even not being sold anymore in person shops as well as online. Joola in response will file lawsuits trying to get the gen 3 paddles back but it will likely not matter as they will need to move on. As always, let me know your thoughts in the comments.

These paddles are not “useless” as you state. They are only delisted for use in certain tournaments.
Usa pickleball regulates pretty much every tournmanet if you want to have a legit one and recs all over the country are banning the paddle as well. Passing on a free full refund is unwise. With all of these points yes the paddles are useless as of this point in time
Amazon won't refund. So, I contacted my bank and put in a dispute. F Amazon.
it's not amazon, it's the seller who sold through amazon who isn't legit.
You should never order through Amazon for paddles. I don’t know why people do this besides Amazon prime shipping but that is the ONLY benefit. Doesn’t help small paddle businesses, you’re likely to get the “muts” of the batch, and it’s dependent on seller you buy from
Why should Amazon care if the paddle they sold you got its USAP approval revoked?
i don't care about the ban, it only applies to usap sanctioned pro matches anyway .. the ban is all about business obviously .. nobody cares about is in our local rec games 😅
I wish there was a video on how to get a refund as I’ve called Joola and no one answers and the messages I’ve left no one has contacted me back
The Joola Gen 3 are too hot and will ultimately withdraw it from the market. Joola will tone down the edge foam and relaunch the product as Gen 3.1 or something else. Suing a regulatory body takes years so don't expect much.

I really like my Gen 3. Such a mess. Hopefully I get the money from the Pickleball Superstore back
obviously, the ban only applies to usap sanctioned matches, which means local rec players can continue using gen3s on weekend rec games .. therefore, unless you are a pro, no need to worry 😢😮😅
It's also being banned at rec play in some places
And some people complain now at rec play, if you're playing with one, even if it's not officially banned there.
@@robedwards6926 well, my rec club is not stupid enough to follow a rule which obviously does not apply to us .. lol !!

I purchased my paddle on 6/4 and literally the next day they released this statement. I went back to Tennistopia where I got it from and they said I need to get the refund through Joola… I emailed Joola and still haven’t heard back I’m not sure what to do anymore. Should I do a dispute?
@WilsonLiu1998 joola said that third party retailers supposedly will have more info soon on how to refund but yeah best thing it to badger their email
