- THIS IS IT! My first video! This was scary haha. Can’t wait to get better at making videos, filming, editing, etc! Not gonna lie, color grading and lighting have been a huge struggle, (especially the end is bumpy af) But I just gotta rip off the bandaid and put stuff out there, and not care if things aren’t perfect! I gotta start somewhere otherwise, I’ll never grow :)
Also animating this by hand was sooo much fun!! But oh boy I hope it paid off hahaha!!

This is what a true sketchbook should look like. Often people believe that sketchbooks should have perfect drawings with perfect lines, but that isn't what a sketchbook should be. It's about learning and exploring new ideas. It's suppose to look sloppy and some times messy. It should show you are thinking. Good job Tschoiy!
Thank you so much! This was so nice to hear! Often i feel like my sketchbook isn’t messy enough! For the next one i wanna explore more ideas too, and do more sketches from life :) but it’s also nice to simply wind down and doodle some pretty looking comfort zone things from foto references every now and then! I guess same as with everything in life, the right balance is key :) A benefit of editing this, which i didn’t realise before, was to really process & analyse my sketchbook in a way i haven’t done before! Gave me some notes and ideas for the next one! :)

This makes me so happy 🧡 a sketchbook should always be a safe space! You don’t have to show it to anyone if you don’t want to ! So messing up some things on purpose and just try new stuff can be so freeing! ✨

Hahaha thaaanks! 🧡 i really have fun doing voice overs but it’s a lot to edit bc i keep getting side tracked & start rambling or i get too excited about art & the audio is too loud hahaha! :) I’m editing the voiceover for video nr two right now and i struggle so hard to remember what i wanted to say but i also don’t wanna write a script 😂 it’s a rollercoaster for sure! Good luck with your videos!
@@tschoiy no the rambling is awesome and gives life! I wrote scripts for mine, but no matter how hard I try, it sounds too stiff. You've inspired me to drop my script now, hehe. Your method just works so perfectly with your visuals, so keep it up!

Thank you Xenia! 🌞💕 just bring it everywhere & suddenly it will be full 👌🏻 I’m using procreate dreams, its quite new so it still has some bugs and I don’t really know much about animation yet but it’s been really fun! (All tho just yesterday i accidentally deleted all the animations i did for the next video…. ) I’ve been to Idea Academy rome, it’s not a summer school, they have yearly courses mainly oriented towards visual development /concept art / animation! They have an amazing fundamentals course which i did online and my skills skyrocketed! But even the fundamentals course is based on visual development not necessarily a finearts approach ! Having said that it’s an incredible course, great value for money and so much to learn! ✨

I took the visual development master level 1 course, and before that i also did their fundamentals year online! Highly recommend Idea if you want to go towards working in the entertainment industry! You really learn so much, definitely great value for money & lot’s of lovely people :) if you just wanna improve your drawing skills in general I’d still recommend it haha! Let me know if you have more questions about it ! 🌞
Beautiful sketchbook tour! I really enjoyed all the different subjects approached and the use of different mediums. My favourite was the spread with all the different plants on the black background.☺️
Bonus, I almost fell off my chair at 2:18 when you mentioned your friend's name as I've only met one other person that shares the same name as me. Although your friend's name is spelled differently, it's pronounced the same ❤

oh wow, I didn't think it was procreate (dreams), because the quality is so good. well doooone. and yes, I believe you that it took ages, but it was worth it!
@magtahline I’ve never tried other animation apps tbh but dreams really surprised me so far! Definitely recommend giving it a shot! There’s so much you can do & i barely scratched the surface ! ✨ it is still super new so there’s a couple things i hope they fix or add soon ! But that’s pretty normal for an app this early on i think ☺️
yes! I hope that too. I cried when I saw the announcement, because I am a big animation fan and was so excited. Then I got the app and was a bit disappointed, but I think I will get there. It seems definitely more intuitive than After Effects, but I'm missing some basic procreate features :( great to here that you liked it and could do cool things with it, that's very encouraging haha

Thank you so so much !!! 🥹this really means a lot ! 🧡 Those were just colour pencils :) I love to layer lots of colours on top of each other 😍 I only used markers on the last page with the pastries ✨ (maybe used some highlighter every now and then !) I wanna use more markers tho, they look so cool!!

Hi Roxanne ✨ I have tried it at school once and it is not my favourite medium tbh! At least as long as i don’t have a studio / dedicated art space bc it’s suuper messy when i use it hahah!! i tend to draw with a lot of energy so i break charcoal a lot & it ends up being pure chaos :D it’s more my fault than the charcoals thi 😂 do you like it? :)
Hi there, your sketch book is fantastic, I love it. You are very talented. But just so you know if you don't cover your receipts with clear sticky tape or varnish they'll all turn white in a few years. Speaking from experience. Xx

We can zoom in on our own. You do not need to make those poorly angled shots where you can't see any details anyway. I like your sketchbook, but this is *not* the place to do doumentary style videography.
