The local dealer told me it couldn't be done.
Now I want fold in mirrors lol.
Electric folding is a much more complicated job: you need special mirrors, a computer, cables ...

I took my right hand door panel off, right hand drive, to find the power wire for the heated mirror.
I wanted to see if the 'myth' that the 'heated mirrors come on during a regeneration' was true.
They do together with the heated rear screen.
With the door panel off, I found a spare brown plug with 2 wires that run to the control switches, it was next to the 6 wire mirror plug.
Today I fitted a fold back mirror, programmed the bsi and fitted a second hand mirror / window control with 'fold in' function button.
It works.
I am yet to do the left passenger side.
I assume it does not need an extra plug because there is no temperature sensor on that side.
I assume all the 6 wires will include a NS fold back mirror.
I thought I would tell you since you helped with my cruise control.

I bought the switch, fitted drivers side folding mirror, plugged it in and it worked.
Ran a twin core wire to passenger side and connected other mirror.

Hi. It's exactly the same with the Peugeot 307, the only difference is that you have to cut the window from the steering column cover to insert the lever. Thanks :)
Am făcut asta în urmă cu aproape un an la Citroen-ul c3 al meu din 2006. Funcționează perfect în afară de limitatorul de viteză deoarece nu am butonul de sub pedala de accelerație.
De aceea am preferat sa nu fac si activarea limitatorului pentru ca nu functioneaza cat timp nu ai acea pedala cu "kick down".
@@AdrianDragan salutare. Tocmai ce am achizitionat un Citroen C2 din 2006, 1.4i (73 cp), cutie Sensodrive (robotizata). Ma bate gandul sa ii pun maneta de CC. Din moment ce este Sensodrive, banuiala mea este ca are atat switch-ul de frana cu 4 fire, dar si "click-ul" de la acceleratie (pentru kick down).

@@aliiyadtedjini7792 lo explica muy bien, solo que en español, pone otra cosa en vez de configuración pero sí que lo pone de otra manera, pero tienes que al final encontrar lo mismo que le sale a él, comprueba que tienes los cables de freno y embrague y ya te digo que funciona perfectamente porque yo me he estado peleando muchísimo y al final lo he conseguido, gracias a este vídeo tiene que salirte las mismas pantallas o parecidas a las que le salen a el dependiendo de la versión del diagbox

@@AdrianDragan cu plăcere! Din ce am observat la pedale, fara să demontez ceva, se vad contactele, deci ar trebui sa funcționeze. Singura chestiune ce poate nu ar funcționa, din ce zicea mecanicul, e funcția de limitare, dar nu mă deranjează.
@@dansorescu5720 Posibil ca limitatorul sa nu functioneze, dar crede-ma ca eu nu l-am folosit niciodata la masinile mele.

@@AdrianDragan am fost ieri la mecanic. A montat maneta, o vede pe bord, dar nu se cuplează, rămânând pe off. A zis sa mai incercam la Peugeot să vadă din softul mașinii daca pot face setările necesare

@@RizkiFikriansyah Yes it works fine, mine is from the same year! There are some small defiations though.
First, when installing, like the video said, you have to cut a slit in the steeringwheel cover in order for it to fit properply.
Secondely, the Diagbox differs a bit from the video, at least with mine. It occured at the end and didn't cause any troubles though and it was pretty straightforward how I had to continue.
It works great and I use it quite often now! The installing and activation of the cruise control took about 15 minutes eventually.
I hope this helped a bit, and have fun!

Do you know if it's possible to retrofit the cruise control on a 206 1.4 petrol year 2007. It has the 2 wire switch on the clutch pedal and the 4 wire switch on the break pedal.

Just did it in my 407 and cruise control works well. Limiter is not working cuz my acceleration pedal has no button. Now my next goai is to snipe a pedal with that button in a deacent price :)
Hi! I have on my Peugeot cruise and limiter from the factory, I used the speed limiter only twice to see how it works 😅. I don't know if the effort to buy another pedal is worth this speed limiter function.
@@AdrianDragan I use the limiter very ofthen in the city when I drive other cars. Pedal replacement is super easy so if I find one used in a good price than why not get it :)

Hi. I'm not sure if it fits, but if the rims are the same (in shape) then it fits.
I have installed the full Diagbox server, with updates and everything, but everytime I insert my Lexia 3 cable into the laptop, i get faillure message pop-up showing right under.

Hola. Creo que su automóvil tiene todos los cables instalados, deberá instalar la palanca de control de crucero y activar la función Diagbox.

Hey, when I tried to configurate the cruise control (CC) in the diagbox, from the step followed by ignition/injection, the options were different than that of the video. When I trried to continue with the steps that looked most like the one in the video, I came to a whole different screen asking me about a complete ECU change. At this point I just closed up the programm and tested the CC. Everything worked except for the car to actually activate the CC function. Meaning it did recognise the arm, and when standing still, it also recognised I pressed the button to start the CC, after which telling me I needed to go faster, like in the video. Also when reaching 80 km/h, the '- - - ' on the screen started flashing, but nothing happened. Do you know how to resolve this? The car in question is a Peugeot 207 cc 1.6vti, 2010.
Hello. Try to make a diagnosis with Diagbox and see if there is any error about CC. On some cars you just can't activate this CC function or it doesn't work, I don't know what the problem would be.

Can it be activated with Delphi or Autocom as well? If so, where exactly can it be found in settings? My car mechanic has Delphi and Autocom diagnostic, not the one you use.

Hello! I just installed the control on my 2003 307sw. It worked for few km and then nothing. Few days later I disconnected the battery before starting up, and it worked again for about 8km... Any guess what could be the fault? Looks like something goes wrong when car gets hot. THANKS!
Hello. I don't know what the problem might be. Try removing the Cruise Control lever and putting it back on. Make a diagnosis with Diagbox, you may find an error.
Hi! A few years ago I've installed this to my 408, successfully enabled both cruise control and speed limiter, but speed limiter failed after a while. Ended up just enabling only cruise control. Any idea why this happens?

Both versions are compatible. For your car, the best one is the one with 6 pins, the one with 8 pins also has a speed limiter, but it will not work (the limiter) because you must have a compatible accelerator pedal.

Hello. Software activation can only be done with a software dedicated to your Fiat car, probably the original software. I'm not sure you can do this using the Diagbox software on your Fiat car.

My current car is 207 from 2007-06. 5FY. Not on this list. But I have seen the same 5FY on another car with Cruise Control.

I have 2009 Citroen C2 hdi. I installed the stalk control. I have not checked the pedal switches yet. My plastic cover has no cutout for the control. Was the C2 ever sold with this option? Can I buy the lower plastic cover with the correct hole?
Hello. If you had a place to put the lever for cruise control, it means that it is very likely that your car was also sold with cruise control from the factory. You can cut into the steering wheel cover for the lever.
@@AdrianDragan I have right hand drive car. I looked on pedals and saw a 2 wire switch for clutch. It has a rod to send brake pedal onto left side of car and parts book shows brake switch is on left side away from pedals. I have not seen yet how many wires on brake switch. I will play with my diagbox I got from eBay tomorrow. Thanks.

Hello. Try once more to do the activation steps using another Diagbox version. There is also the possibility that the CC option is blocked from the factory.

Hello. I don't think it's possible to enable adaptive cruise control with this tool, I think you'll have to go to your Peugeot dealer for this.

Salutare. La modele mai noi (308) știu ca se poate, din pacate nu stiu daca și la 207 e posibil. Daca masina are ESP cred ca ar fi o șansă pentru ca să se poată activa aceasta opțiune.

Hello, just configured at mu 308 2013ver, the car seems to recognized all its functions, how ever, when I try to turn on the cruise control while driving, it shows the current velocity and 1 second after it starts to blinking (an underline symbol) what could it be?
Hello. In some cars, this option to activate and operate CC is blocked from the factory and will not work. Try a reconfiguration with another Diagbox version, but I can't say that it will work.

Hello. I'm not very sure but I think there are two pins that lock the lever in its support. Those pins should be unlocked and the lever should be able to be removed.
@@AdrianDragan Thanks for the reply! I got it out. If anyone is having this issue there is a pin on the left side of the stalk that you can push in, then you can slide it out. I actually got it working aswell by bending the pins on the stalk out a bit. I saw in some comments that on some 307's it won't work. I got it working on my 307 facelift version 1,6 HDI manual by doing exactly what you did in your video.
I did everything and test everything and still not working. On the display I have CC OFF and 2 dashes --.
Did you have any idea where is the problem?

Hello. I also had this problem with two cars and I don't know where the problem is, someone from the dealer told me that the activation of the function could be blocked from the factory.
Can this be done with the "lite" version of the Diagbox unit or do I need the "full chip" version? I have a 2015 Peugeot Partner Teepee. Thank you!
Hi. You can usually do the activation with the lite version as well.
@@AdrianDragan Thanks! in the meanwhile, I've come to understand that the "full chip" version supports the later v9 Lexia software which is probably gonna be easier to install/use. I'll go with the modern version just to be sure :)

Thank you for the great video. Do you think ordering a cheap AliExpress Cruize Control stick is safe? can it potentially malfunction in a dangerous way during driving .. like accelerating and not letting you stop?!
Hello. It's a good question, but so far I haven't heard of such problems with these levers even though they are bought from the China.

@@AdrianDragan mine is automatic 308 turbo. This is why i worry a bit because its a drive-by-wire after all and there is a cheap cruize in the middle. Hello. Check that you have the contacts on the clutch pedal and the brake pedal. If you have them, it will most likely work on your car as well.

Hello. You don't need any extra cable, just check if you have those switches on the brake pedal and the clutch pedal, insert the lever into the support and then you have to do the activation with Diagbox.

Hi. For active cruise control you need a front radar, an ABS pump module programmed or special for this function and many other programming and calibrations in the car software. I'm afraid it's very expensive or impossible to upgrade to this feature, and it can probably only be done at a Peugeot dealer.

Hello! I do not know to tell you how to do in the Peugeot 208 because I haven't worked so far. Check if you have those pedal switches and if you can remove the covers under the steering wheel to see if you have support for the Cruise Control lever.

Ar mai fi o posibilitate, daca ai fost cu masina prin reprezentanta este posibil ca acolo sa-ti fi facut un update de soft la calculatorul motorului si acesta sa blocheze aceasta optiune.
I have issue with cruise. On 308 t7 2009r.
On 4 and 5 gear cruise work normalny, but On 6 gear cant define speed or start cruise.

Am comandat maneta, am comandat echipamentele cu care pot activa pilotul automat, insa, CD-ul de instalare ce am primit, pe traseu s-a spart. Am cautat pe internet softul Lexia 3/Diagbox, insa nu am gasit un soft, care sa functioneze in asa fel sa pot activa pilotul automat... Nu stiu ce as putea face, tu presupun ca stai in Bucuresti... Da-mi un sfat, ce as putea face, am bagat o gramada de bani, pana in momentul de fata, degeaba :(
Salutare. Eu stau în Tulcea. Poti scrie vanzatorului de unde ai cumparat, trimite-I o poza cu cd-ul spart și de obicei au posibilitatea sa trimita un link pt descărcarea online a softului. Daca nu rezolvi te rog sa ma anunti, daca faci un deum la Tulcea putem rezolva fără alte costuri. Din ce localitate esti?

See in my video at 5:16 minutes, select "Cruise control and speed limitation". But, if your car does not have a switch on the accelerator pedal to unlock this limitation in case of need, it may not work properly.
Anyway, my car has a speed limiter, do you know how many times I have used it? Once, to see how it works :))

I had it on my first car, it was on pretty much every time I was driving outside of city, but sadly, some girl rear-ended me when I was stopped at a red light and I had to get another car... which happened to not have speed limiter... Hello. Use the 6-pin lever. Your car probably already have those switches on the clutch and brake pedal, you can visual check if your car has them.

Just checked the pedals, it looks like clutch has the switch but no wires connected to it. Brake pedal have 4 wires and connected.
Also open the steering coloum and for cruise control connection have 8 tabs.

No, it is not possible to activate and work these functions. In addition to the activation you need some hardware components (radar, cables, etc.).

@@AdrianDragan Well, the car can make to a full stop but it does not restart by itself (which an ACC stop and Go would do). In my case the driver needs to accelerate to 30km/h to reengage the cruise control.

Sunt aceleasi softuri, difera doar interfata. Diagbox este atat pentru Peugeot cat si pentru Citroen, pe cand Lexia se adreseaza masinilor Citroen si PP2000 Peugeot-urilor. Deci se poate activa si cu Lexia sau PP2000.
Buna, fi amabil te rog frumos si spune-mi daca ai idee daca aceasta metoda functioneaza si la VAN-uri mai exact la un peugeot boxer din 2015 2.2 HDI. Multumesc foarte frumos!
Salut. In proporție de 90% ar trebui sa mearga. Totusi daca opțiunea de activare este blocata din fabrica, nu va functiona. Singura cale de a afla este sa montezi maneta și sa încerci activarea cu Diagbox.
