I'm straight edge, meaning I don't drink, smoke or do drugs, but I'm far from those jackasses who make it a gang thing, those hardliners. Fuck them. I go out with my buddies and I'm the only straight edge guy I know, not just in the punk/metal scene, but also in wider context, but I don't shove my beliefs on anybody. I can go party whole night with no substances at all, whether it's gabber HC or rave, punk, hardcore or metal and have a great time, but also, I leave people alone. If they want get high, drunk etc I don't care as long as people are not intentional, obnoxious assholes. I like Raw Hate but also like Coke Bust, so go figure. Crusty HC is almost as much appealing to me as straight edge hardcore or grindcore, I don't want to pick and choose.

Ian MacKaye just made up straight edge to "rebel" against people who did drugs, he never intended for people to make it a religion. grow up and admit your just like everyone else
