  • And that's all folks. This time we take down Noah and beat the game! This was very fun and another example of a game that should have came out west! It was cool seeing how it laid the ground work for the DS games. I really hope MM4 gets translated, I need more of this series! I have a stronger laptop now, may try playing metal saga one day or buy the newest game...Xeno I think it's called. Don't know yet. Thanks for watching! See you all next mission!

This was a really fun one. A real shame this and the bulk of this series never made it out west. Anyone know if the newest one, Xeno is any good?

Real shame indeed! Well it was fun watching you play (I say it sarcastically, I'm envious of your playthroughs as I want to play this gem and the DS ones more now LOL! Good Let's play though, Good Luck in the future!)

As for your question on Xeno....well Vanilla and Reborn are okay, (Reborn being better in whole "Open World aspect Metal Max is known for" then Vanilla Xeno but I wouldn't say there worth buying at full price! Wait on a sale! But they're decent games none the less, just not something to break your arm to get outside a sale unless you got the cash to burn and time to play em!

      How about metal saga?

I feel that Metal Max Xeno lacks the charm and gameplay that the previous Metal Max games (1-4 and Metal Saga) had. I wished that brought the DS games (Metal Max 3 and 2 Reloaded) to the West. I hope that maybe they'll port them to the Switch.

Just in time, seeing that an interesting PS1 translation is coming out on Monday apparently... not gonna spoil what it is, but the group behind it has already teased it! As for MM 1... it's neat that they already had so many of the same elements this series is known for in the first game. Too bad it came out somewhat too late in the Famicom lifespan to be localized, being an RPG and all.

A new ps1 translation you say? Now you have my interest! I'll keep my eyes open for it. Thanks!

To answer your question both version of Metal Max Xeno and the "Remake" Xeno Reborn is welll..both have there flaws in the game...but man is it fun...tho for the Remake back bone story but blasting stuff and upgrading and Customization is pretty fun...so yes Xeno Reborn is Hella fun even in a limited budget game

Got to love how hypocritical Noah is! Insulting the very beings who are the reason it even exists in the first place! Talk about biting the hand that made you!

That seems to be the mindset of most evil computers.

@@MEGABLADEJ Yeah I figure, it's likely to show the hypocrisy and just how similar to the "pathetic meatbag humans" they look down on they are! Playing the Mass Effect Series was the first time I saw a unique version of the "Evil A.I." concept, in that you did see GOOD A.I. in the case of Legion, the true Geth (I know people felt they were made too good, but then the either point was to show how Tali's people's high command ultimately screwed them all over and everything she was taught was one giant deception to cover up their own wrong doing! Basically for the first time, the "Evil Computers DIDN'T go kill all organics! It was genuine Self-Defense! Hell the Geth didn't even WANT their creators to leave the planet! They chose that of their own accord and the violent evil ones were pretty much the MINORITY! They were more then happy to give the system back provided they're sentience was respected...which it wasn't and it all depended on if you went for the Peace arrangements from the previous games)
Frankly I do like the concept being turned on it's head, showing the A.I. were no different then their creators! And pretty much making Evil A.I. like Noah and Skynet out to be the A.I. equalivent of "Egomaniacs" I mean the antagonists of later Metal Max games turn out to be one based on an insane egomaniac (MM2) and I think MM3 was the first time the villain WASN'T an A.I. Don't know about MM4 though, but Xeno feels like it's tying into the original 1 by the fact it's story mentions Noah's destruction and that part of the world was plagued with killer robots the most following Noah's "last death fuck U" to that side! Though the lore is weird on that one so I don't care much on trying to connect it to the other games
