Solid one 👍 Whole place now a serious mold hazard and would need total gutting - air in the cellar and attic a real relief. The three portraits of Henry VII, VIII & Liz I above the fireplace were gone as of today; apparently quite roughly ripped out, but perhaps saved somewhere as a result if the decline continues. Wouldn't take too much longer to tip it over the edge - sad if it's not saved, despite the 2 mill+ sale price in 2020.
By the way, take as you will, but you've a strong James Marsters look going on there.

I had to Google that name , good looking chap haha , it's a shame all of these listed buildings are going to the dogs up and down the UK. Hopefully someone one day will restore it. I think those paintings were prints , hopefully there worthless. So those thieves won't make any money from them. Thanks for watching and the comment 👍

Unfortunately some developers are just in it for the long game and simply allow listed structures to degrade beyond viable salvage. Still, silver lining, much more interesting explores than pretty much anything built from the 1950s onwards.
Yep. I'd be surprised if of 1597 date, but they were embedded in the panelling and covered in glass...

@@NewArcadianI've seen that happen a lot or they get some stooge to set fire to a property to speed up the process. Like the wonky pub recently , England is slowly losing a lot of it's historical culture. Glad I'm documenting a lot of these buildings before there lost forever.

Thanks 🙏 Not bad was it , glad I had the chance to explore it as I was in the area due to work.

gorgeous architecture and woodwork. I did see another team do this place, but you definitely showed more inside than they did so thank you. This place needs to be saved, but sadly it will probably be more than likely a victim to moronic vandals soon than to time.

It was an amazing place to explore and film , glad you liked another video I must be doing something right lol. Shame I couldn't explore the other building but best get away after you've triggered an alarm. Hopefully when the economy picks up again someone or a company will restore it. Thanks for watching 👍

Wonderful journey into the realms of tutor history and disclosing how the house has been used down the centuries. Very interesting🎉🎉😮

that was a random recommendation, and i'd like to say this is really giving me resident evil vibes. or "La Princesse de Montpensier". both works xd
