Hopefully you have a hand washing sink in your classroom and encourage you to have the wash hands and cough or sneeze in elbow. Also hope your classroom has windows to let in sunlight and even a window to crack for fresh air to keep everyone healthy. Might consider a room size air filter to help keep the classroom air clean

I don't have the slides available right now! I just make them in Canva and will be creating them week-by-week this year! Maybe next year, I will be organized enough to share them!!

Wow, wonderful information. Do all 1st grade classes have an aide? That would be sooo nice. The district I’m in (Southern California) usually has 23-26 first graders per class with no aide!

Do you use daily slides ?
I work backward. Since I feel that I'm a bit more creative, I create my slides and then I write it on my planner.
Do the children come back to the rug for the story for the rules and poster from their desks?
Do you have your visual schedule cards as seen in this video available as something I can download and edit to suit my needs?

Students bring in their own snacks! I will keep backups under the sink in case anyone forgets, but 99.9% of the time our students bring in their own during that time.
