- In this video I will be breaking down How to Use ASUS ROG Armoury Crate + my review of the program. This comes pre-installed on most of the ASUS republic of gamers gaming laptops to help take a look at your specs at a quick glance.
It can also be used to change the image quality on the laptop screen as well as launch games, even. I want to break down some of the different things you can do with this program and get my general review of it. My Asus laptop has a dedicated button that will pull this menu up so I thought I'd be nice to talk a little bit about it for people that might not have much knowledge on the armoury crate.

I’ve just uninstalled this on my new PC and was hoping to have some insight into how well it works. I’ve had a lot of people say it can burn your laptop or PC out overtime so I just uninstalled it. Good to see comments are very much against it too as I now know it may have been the right choice to make haha! Thanks for the video man ✌️❤️

Don’t forget to mess around in nvidia control panel that’s where most of your primary settings are done. Also in the indies power settings those are critical steps

How r the cpu temps when using basic work or idle condition coz i get 53-59°c in performance mode mid fans
I use Armoury Crate since I had my new pc, works very well, but last night when I updated my Graphics Card in Armoury Crate, my Rtx 4060 ROG dosent appear in Armoury Crate anymore...
Anyone can help??
Idk what it was for me , but its seemed my pc tems were almost 10c higher when i had armourycrate installed , uninstalled went back to normal

i need help, i have my armoury crate saying im using ai tweaker so i cannot change its always in windows mode i would like touse armoury tried to go to bios ai tweaker settings but for me its default settings
I cant for the life of me fogure out how to properly OC through armory crate. Im using an Asus TUF tho bit the software comes with it. I dont notice any difference when I use the mabual options and changr the values for the GPU, any help?
hello i have a little problem well my laptop was like not starting properly so i reseted it via usb and now my graphics drivers are not displaying or when i try downloading drivers pc freezes and windows dies needing another windows instalation with usb please somebody help
how do i get the panel saver option? I really need that since my g14 runs out of battery very fast

Thanks Jason - I've just installed and run this on my ASUS TUF F15 and once I did that I've got an FPS overlay in the top left of my screen which I can't get rid of - I presume that somehow I enabled it in Armoury Crate but can't see where I might shut it off. Are you aware of this or might it be from some other application? Cheers
Hey Damien, is the FPS in the corner only during gameplay? I know I have the FPS set in Steam whenever I play games through there, so it might be worth checking Steam/Gamepass whatever you are gaming on! Hope this helps, if not let me know!
@@JasonDunna Thanks Jason - I've just restarted the laptop after yesterday's Armoury Crate install and the FPS counter has not reappeared - phew! Not sure where it came from but glad it's gone. I use the Nvidia overlay in-game and I know how to turn it on/off so I hope that's the only one I have to deal with. Thnaks again for your vid and reply! Cheers Damien

I hit a button and now im getting like 1 fos on any game as soon as i open it :( my laptops ruined. Any way to reset it back to factory?
Oh no that sounds rough, could be a number of things, really hard to say.
You should always save a back up of your computer just in case
My armoury crate doesn’t have that device tab, any idea why?
Do you have the other Asus program? I think both are required for it to work properly

Is there a cooling system built in it ? Mine overheats too much on gaming FORTNITE
Yes there are fans depending on what model you got. I play Fortnite as well and the fans get going sometimes

It gets super hot below it though too especially on the charger

What do you mean? I have a button on my laptop to open it, you could always just open it after boot

@@JasonDunnabecause its wasting a lot if recources. there are so my ser ices, autostarts, scheduler. no one knows what this all is. my gigabyte fan & rgb software was so small and clean.
My armoury crate app has only 3 options, equalizer, optimization and gaming mode. There's no bass and any other option

I have 2 ROGs (Z13 and X16).
IMHO, Armoury Crate sucks! My Z13 slows down 25% of its speed along with AC updates. Uninstalled it successfully.
Now, for you in need to get waaaay better software to control your ROGs, get G-helper. It's surely much better than AC.
I have no idea why ASUS is stupid enough to create AC and MyASUS.
Yeah I uninstalled Armoury Crate somewhat recently. I have an M16 and I need all the performance it can get! I use my desktop a lot more though
I mostly use my Z13, X16 and Zbook 17 because my HP Z dual Xeon workstation draws too much power 😅
