Since the Lockdown here in nz I have lost count how many times ive watched the world cup. Everytime I watch it I almost feel like I was at the game cheering our SILVER FERN GIRLS ON. 😂🤣😂
Now is the 🇧🇷 lockdown and is my first time.Netball is very unknown here,but have a handball version on the schools with the same rules.This version was made to introduce team sports on the elementary schools.
ahahahahahaha same and still yelling at the refs to pick up the dirty plays lol love the sport and i gotta say without a NZ and Aussie game the sport would be boring to be honest both teams are awesome just the better team won GO THE FERNS!!!!!!!!

Casey I feel should sit with Noels and help the defence out - one of the best SF defenders Ive seen - the read on those balls floating outside the circle, perfect timing when to retrieve balls in the air, always know where to position herself much to the shooters nightmare and brilliant intercepting skills - missed her!!
It gets no better than watching the best two teams in the southern hemisphere New Zealand and Australia 💚🖤💚, and yet they are all great friends and respect each other on and off the court

I find her commentary really fun and fair. Same with Liz Ellis (not in this game but she's always a great time). Overall this was an extremely professionally officiated and commentated match, one of the best ever in that regard.

I have to say the Gretel Tippett is one of the dirtiest players I've seen ... in the final she was consistently contacting and going off side ... I'm was surprised she didn't get a time out ... and the way she used her knees and hip to push Casey Kopua in the final minute was unbelievable
He's a dear friend Dan Ryan and was a awesome netball player in his day's, but now he's a coach in the Uk... But Liz and Sue are my all time favourite commentary
Great commentary in the second half Dan Ryan 👏and Jenny Woods. Pretty balanced and fair for both teams. Dan's commentary of game play for each time was impartial..Great great great second half commentary for a world cup..
The commentary in this game was just excellent. It's great to see fair commentary yet passionate about the game and all the commentators met that expectation.

Good female basketball players don’t attend WNBA because it’s a waste of their talent as no one views WNBA and they payment is poor. If you were a talented female basketballer would you want to get underpaid and looked down a female player (hope not) WNBA kinda sucks because their not truely showing the talent of female ballers in my opinion.
I wouldnt compare it to WNBA,both are two very different sports,I was raised playing both netball and basketball and its def two different mindsets but both physical and very tough and competitive
I thought the NZ lady commentator was patronising and demeaning to Ekenasio's play and contribution in this game. 'Supporting' Maria, 'Maria talking to (only) her all the time' and never properly acknowledging all the great things she contributed to her (Ekenasio) team unlike the Aussie (ex-player) commentator who was properly complimentary. Every player supported every other player. It was a team of equals and Ekenasio was not subservient to Maria as implied by this commentator.

She did the same even better in the SF vs England which was for me her standout game of the tournament - she completely removed Mentor's influence from the game. I think Mentor had 1 rebound, no intercepts, no deflections and no gains. To blank Mentor like that is completely unheard of. Maria kept her 100% busy for 60 minutes.
