Suicidal kicks so much ass. Mike Muir is far beyond punk. This is probably my favorite album - this and How Will I Laugh Tomorrow.
This is an extremely underrated album in their catalog.

I came here just because of "Cyco vision" but I haven't listened to the whole album before. The whole album has amazing songs lol.
Got here the same way just listening to the 1st 1 now n it’s a banger!
Slammed by "critics" on its release. Slammed into the fucking stereo by everyone else who knows better for a thousand years to come. This album has single-handedly prevented my sobriety before but it's always worth it for this record.

I saw them for the first time on Tuesday night with Exodus and Slayer! They played a lot of songs from this album. I'd have to say this is the best one they've put out within the last 10-15 years.

Back in the day I used to try so hard to learn all the songs on my drum kit. I still do enjoy jammin. The drums on here from a drummers point of view are just...Amazing!
Although I can play them now, (which isn't a big deal). What is a big deal is how incredible Brooks Wackerman is when he recorded. It's complex, dynamic,groovy and just plain fucking creative! I Cheers to Mr. Whackerman, He's a huge inspiration. I wish to one day be on par with his playing ability. Well I gotta go practice!!!

With Freedumb, ST reassessed their crown as kings of crossover... So many musical styles(thrash, punk, funk and even some ska!) so nicely mixed together is the demonstration that ST members are head & shoulders above the rest of the "rock" world. Definitely they still had it... and still have!

Wackerman kills it .... Holy shit!! Been sui since birth !! Seen sui 4 may be 5 times. Got on stage vans warp tour 96 San Bernardino ca.. Met Wackerman back stage between the sui stage and the vandals stage who came on next ! I had the drum sticks that Wackerman gave me till recently when I gave one to my little bro who is 24 and I have 1 to my homegirls daughter who had to go away to a drug rehab in Utah !!! Made alittle stand for the stick and it was really cool lookin! She a rider and cyco and sober now !! But regardless sober or not home or in rehab she'S SUICIDAL FOR LIFE !!! the next generation !!!!

Got kinda drunk and stoned!! Wanted to slam dance but couldn't!! Another time a moshed at this rock club!! Amazing show!! Also at a amphitheater out outside !! I've loved the song cyco vision since I played Tony Hawk's Skateboarding all those years ago. I loved being 17, for so many reasons. I enjoy reliving it and finding out more. I'm in a rock out mood.
Saw ST in 1990 was it..? Clash of the titans european tour with slayer,megadeth and testament......awesome band......finally made it from scotland to venice beach in 2019 to fulfill a life long dream of seeing Los Angeles and experiencing the place where it all started.....all i wanted was a pepsi..awesome...ST FOR LIFE!!!

Isn't it wild how a hardcore punk band from Santa Monica is somehow like THE band for top notch musicians to be in? Thundercat played bass for ST. Dave Lombardo and Ben Weinman are current members. Bob Trujillo left ST/Infectious Grooves to play for Metallica. Cyco Mike must have a really killer ear for musicians.
