Check out Project Plus. People are starting to migrate to it. The first major tournament is Blacklisted Plus. It's basically PM 3.7 with its balancing.
At 4:06, how did Lucario stop in mid air during the up B?
If Lucario has an aura charge stored, he can cancel Extreme Speed by pressing A.

Adding 3 years later, all of his specials have some effect when he has aura charges. Aura Sphere becomed Aura Bomb, Force palm is stronger, and Up/Down B can be cancelled

Do combatants use a different build of PM? I'm noticing several differences
RaincloudTheDragon Often times tournaments will use modded versions of PM to make the stage select screen nicer and stuff like that. It doesn't affect gameplay in any way though, and isn't by any means a necessity.

Btw, I don't really think that they're clone characters. I made the joke because Mewtwo is a character in Melee but he, she, or it got REPLACED with Lucario in Brawl (because of time restraints I think).
