Everyone is free to like one form of dance more than another but they aren't in competition with eachother. There are many forms of expression through dance and as a whole the art form would be lacking without each one.
Like MEGSN said “ we can learn from each other . Good dancers must be versatile. Try everything! My 1st love us ballet then I got into jazz then lyrical even tried hip hop in my 50s. I tapped all through the years and I’m still tapping at age 70
