Gorgeous. Really showcases the new lighting and clouds. And the mountains look beautiful with the more detailed polys/textures. I’ve been hoping ED will eventually update the mountains on the Caucasus map but if they don’t, I can always head to the South Atlantic! :D. Yes, I suspect I’ll be buying this map.

Am I the only one to notice the F15C cockpit with the Strike Eagle package at the end of the video 🤣 ? So disappointed they didn't put some sneak peek of the F15E pit, it would have been perfect 😅
@@Katronicle RAZBAM has a terrible rep because of the way they USED to do things. Now they try and make it right, people like you just sit there in the past. If it's another year and it comes out properly then no harm no foul. The reason we also don't have the F-15E yet is because they straight up halted development to get the M2000C and Harrier in proper fettle. Remember the F-16C on day one? That was screwed and 2.5.6 was also completely borked. So ED has done similar things too. It's about how you deal with the situation. ED have done more internal testing between beta updates and RAZBAM have gone back to upgrading their released aircraft. If you have such a problem with RAZBAM and their "Terrible rep" why are you even here? Just feeling trollish?

Mirage and Harrier weren't great at launch but are now brilliant. And the mirage is about to get an amazing radar overhaul. Each unto their own I guess.
They've been kicking ass for boutta year now after that "shit storm in a water glass" thingy happened when the Harrier was suddenly out of early access. They've gotten flak and massively ramped up their output, which seems to be pretty constant still. If they stay like that or improve even more, it only gets better for all of us. Pushing the 15E further out was just the right thing to do to meet the new standards they set for themselves after their somewhat sloppy past. And I'm totally glad they made it this far instead of falling out of business.

Looks good. Pretty irrelevant historically and globally. Was a bullshit war. Old decrepit Argentine A4s and even F86's Vs Harriers and few phantoms. Hardly a notable air battle. Not relevant to the WW2 warbirds available in DCS. Better off if someone made a Pacific map that has more substance than Marianas. Maybe a Philippine map. Incorporate modern China forces or WW2 Japanese. Essex carriers for the F4U. How about a Rhineland Map for Nato vs Soviet cold war invasion. A-10s and Apaches were made for that war.
Leatherneck are bringing in an Essex carrier with their Corsair. There's a Ww2 version of Mariana's in development altho I won't knock back more pacific maps & Philippines. I'm sure they would love a zero in too if can get enough info on it. For modern day we have the Chinese assets pack by Deka but probably won't see any more full fidelity for a while. Think in the end especially with 3rd parties these are more passion projects for them rather than what's needed in DCS. I'm sure Razbam has an interest in the conflict which is why concentrating heavily on the map & assets, especially with their history with Harrier. I agree a german map would also be welcome!
What an extreme oversimplification of the war that ignores the logistics and skill of the British people in their reclaiming of their island right next door to their enemy.

Is this a modern day map? Given that it looks like RAF Mount Pleasant is in it, and that wasn't there in 1982.
Don't think this map is historic ( wind turbines, lack of Historic airframes ). Which is fine by me
