That's the greatness of Xtina, she has so many layers and colours to her voice that she can decide how to sound in relation to the song. She's so versatile and freaking talented. I'll always love her. Queen of vocals.
I think neither cher or christina wanted to do a sequel, I have no idea how much money the movie made but if it wasn't really great that would probably be a reason as well :/ witch is a shame cause a livod the movie as well.

I never really paid attention to Christina before, and her vocals blew me away. When Cher first showed up in the movie, I was reminded why I liked her back in the '70s, and not the punchline she had pretty much become nowadays. She can still perform with the best of 'em.
This movie has always been very special to me, because this was the first movie that i bought with my own money back when i was 13. Christina looked absolutely beautiful throughout the movie. Her acting skill was good, and the songs fit the theme of the movie. The storyline may be a little overused, because this is, like, a remake of Glitter by Mariah Carey, in my opinion. Mariah is bad at lip syncing, though, but both are amazing singers, talented artists and beautiful women. I adore her cute and innocent personality in this movie.
It'sa way of flirting and seducing someone, that's what burleque is a dance of seduction and flirting in a fun and saucy way, this song is basicly sarcasm in a flirty and seductive way by saying "Yeh i'm a good girl ;)"and then that seduces the other person and they think "yeh... i bet your a good girl hehe" xD.
Everything about this scene is just AMAZING. Great voice, beautiful costume...every nuance of the number done in flirtatious perfection. She's an artist, a professional and a perfectionist. Well done 🙌
