Absolutely deserves respect. He had a job to do and he got it done. No male player relishes playing a woman because of the pressure they'll be under. Beau has a massive future ahead of her in the game and deserves all the success she gets. Was a great game

Rodriguez vs Ilagan was the best. It was interesting to see the shift in the face of Ilagan from fully consentrated at 2-0 in the begining to looking like he was fighting for his life when it became 2-2.
Hats off to Greaves for giving O’Connor a run for his money. There is potential there we all know it.

Best take away for Beau would be experiencing the calibre so there will no more surprises in what is expected of her. Plus it seemed evident to me she was feeling some nerves and wasn’t relaxed enough to reach her potential. Look forward to her continued development.

@@Zarkava8 I know you might get some hate for that comment but I think her size will not give her confidence. She is young and I think self improvement will improve her darts. She is young and she needs to feel more confident. I hope she can fix that because she deserves it, she might change darts forever for women. If she sets the darts standard for women, women will improve like men did because of Taylor and MVG recently.

The matches today. Everyone is talking about Beau Greeves and how well she was and how good she is gonna be. Next week as the worlds progress they will forget the first round. Willie played how he can. He is a stead consistent dart player. Don’t take it away from any of the dart players. This is true a experience that not everyone gets.

It's good to see women compete with the men but the media is so incredibly biased. A female player can get a ton with two darts a mile away from treble 20 and the commentator says: "amazing darts".
The women have to earn it just like the men. They shouldn't get free spots like Fallon. That's not right.
In case you didn't notice, its not the media that's incredibly biased - its the crowd. The fact is that most people want women in darts to succeed, obviously commentators are going to reflect that.
Same goes for the commentary. Seems women are being inserted into commentary positions because they are women, even though they are woeful at commentating. I feel sorry for people out there who will be working hard to get into that industry, and then a diversity hire comes straight in

@@motorhead4870 Ashton was able to get a tour card and Sherrock won two games on the world stage and performed great at last year’s grand slam. Greaves is much better than both of them.
There were already so many men who performed so much worse than Beau this year

Simple facts are men inherently have better hand eye coordination and spatial awareness and more testosterone, which makes them more competitive even at non physical sports or games, snooker or chess even, that’s why transgenders still dominate easily against real women

For bo playing infront of a noisy crowd at the world champs definitely got to her abit, she just couldn't find her range, she didn't look like she enjoyed having her arm raised at the end, bo should do the development tour next year, she can be a top 64 player and with experience in the pdc push for a top 32.
the best part about all this is that the dancing ladies are back! i feel i've been ripped off the last six or so months.
She was going deep into the tournament she said 🤔 two down one to go then we can sit back and enjoy the real darts players competing!
Keegan really should have gone further in the game than he has thus far.

Too bad for Beau, but with age and certain improvement she will be back. So far whenever the top 40 play you can see an actual difference without much effort. Too early to say if Smith will get there without a match against an equal.

Yes. Beau Greaves was whitewashed in that match, but it wasn't a domination. She kept up with him and frequently had shots at doubles fot sets, her standard only dropped in the last set which I believe is because she knew what was gonna happen
She was white washed but sets darts can make the match seem easier than it really was.

Nothing wrong with the girls competing. At least 75% of the players on the PDC tour have got tits so it's not as if it is anything new.
The key word though is compete. The standard in the women's game is miles behind and they're being set up to fail by being thrown in at the worlds and constantly getting hammered...
