Редко вижу картинку как у этого токаря. Станок чистый, рукоятки руками крутят, а не молотком, все развешано, меряет не проволочкой, а инструментом и в токарке хоть побелено давно, но ещё не загажено. Видно , что мужик убирает.
Только он потом взял шлифовальную машинку и зачистил. Испортил всю свою работу.
Wichtig ist: Lager müssen in den Dreck und mit dem Hammer bearbeitet werden.
Vor allem darf auch nur eine Seite mit Fett eingeschmiert werden. Die andere Seite muss unbedingt Fettfrei bleiben.

Just weld a bead on the inside of those bearing racers and they will shrink and fall out of the hub easily.
Inside rollers, it was filled with concrete right?
Never strike a bearing directly!

I would have replaced the axle. You can see its beginning to bend, and its well worn. It probably would have been quicker to machine the ends on a new bar than fix it. Kudos for effort, I hope it lasts a while, but it will need replacing eventually. And what did I see, actual carbide bits! Thats rare from what Ive seen.
Only Musalman and Sikhs can do such heavy work.
no grease on half of it... it will be back in the shop in 6 months
