The biggest problem I see in our country (this includes many in my extended family), people blindly take sides, if they like one party they ignore every bad things about it, and there is blind hate for other parties. And it's not specific to one party. It's about time that it changes. People need to understand what Democracy is and the role of opposition. So many simply didn't care when 100+ opposition MPs were suspended. I am hopeful, with our new generation voters (18-25 group), who would be better educated that previous generations.

With ongoing political affairs, many forget that it's not just the Modi bhakt but the pappu bhakt/chamchas that are a big problem as well. This country deserves the best, anything less than the best is absolutely unacceptable. On one side we have a guy who came from nothing, climbing ladders from no one to the PM chair and chamchas think that the alternative to him is someone who didn't hold even a ministry in his lifetime but is eligible for the PM chair just because he is born in the family of gandhis. Indian democracy gives the voters to choose according to their liking, if Modi is not liked anymore he can be removed from office. That's how democracy works but to create a theory that RG is working to save the democracy when he couldn't save his own family's seat is outrageous. To run a big country like India, especially with the current headwinds in the world is not an easy task. Someone with good experience in governing is necessary. If it is not Modi, then he can be removed. But chamchas, willing to put India on the back pedal for a person who if not for the Gandhi surname wouldn't even exist in India's political landscape is a terrible thing. RG could have taken up a ministry, became a CM, and learned and gained experience in governance but did none of that to this day but wants the PM chair just because of the surname is what's wrong with the main opposition. He completely turned his own party upside down, when so many leaders who worked for the party for decades left saying they were leaving because of RG, instead of learning and adjusting the party. Chamchas prepping him like a PM candidate is delusional. The dude caused havoc in his own party and had to leave the president's post (even though it is just in name only). So far failed in everything he undertook but Chamchas still prepping him as a messiah shows how little they care about India.
