Another great choice for a guest. That dude is immensely talented. His work reminds me of Beksiński.

Excellent and inspiring conversation. Paolo is a Man with a capital M.

Still one of the best traditional artists working today. Been a fan of his work for close to 15 years now

It's crazy that Paolo keeps his Manowar CDs separate. I did the same thing for the same reason. However, i still can't get on board with Lord of Steel.

Paolo is quite a character, and of course a hell of a painter haha
Since I saw his paintings featuring albuns of metal bands I was amazed by his work. Again, another great interview! As an illustrator myself (but I am not even close to 10% of Paolo skills haha Maybe someday...) I really related to a lot of topics that you guys discussed through the podcast.
The discussion about how creativity is affected by physical exercises and nutrition is very true, at least in my personal experience. Since I started to work out (almost daily) and reorganize my diet, my mind has become clearer, peaceful. This "serenity state" improved my concentration/focus and as a consequence, helped me a lot with new ideas for artworks, sketches, stories.
I think this is one of the major topics that you discuss with your guests, which, in my opinion, is always one of the highlights on the podcasts.
Another thing that I relate to Paolo is about his passion for painting. I mean, working as a painter for him is kind of his "obsession" (in a good way of course). And this obsession sometimes makes us, artists, live in our own worlds/ideas, almost forgetting the things that happen in the real world. Maybe this is a case of a "double-edged blade", so it has its positives and negatives effects.
I've listened to that interview with Adrian Baxter as well, who is another great artist. I am not a big fan of the "graphic design approach" in an album art for metal bands (the use of only symbols, letters, and flat illustrations in a layout). However, the way Adrian uses this technique with his own vision is fantastic, especially because of the main themes of his works (dark art, occultism, esotericism). Also, coincidentally, I experienced some of the gut problems that Adrian has had in the past. Now, just like him, with exercices and good diet, that shit don't happen anymore to me haha 🤘
I know that you have a full bucket list of future guests, but I would like to recommend some artists/ illustrators that could be great guests for the podcast, anyway:
    - José Gabriel Alegría Sabogal
    - Denis Forkas
    - Adam Burke / Nightjar Illustration
    - Kristian Wåhlin / Necrolord
    - Wes Benscoter
    - Zbigniew M. Bielak
All of them have worked for metal bands before, and some of these artists are quite famous in the scene haha
Thanks again for the podcast, and keep up the good work Shayan!
PS1: I'm looking forward to the new Trivax album as well. The single and the album art are amazing!
PS2: What's your thoughts on the new Marduk record? To me it is a solid record. 8 of 10. One of the best of the year for sure.
