From my experience I haven’t had any shipping problems with Amazon, the manga are also in perfect condition(although I don’t buy used).

Threw me off when I opened manga bought from Amazon. It was just a big box and my small manga in there. No plastic wrapped around the manga, no bubble wrap in the box, heck there wasn’t anything else in there for protection at all. Lmao
Yes, that’s the sad part. They should do a quality control when it comes to packaging our mangas. Some really are meticulous when it comes to the condition especially if you’re a avid collector.
I’ve only had one damaged volume from Amazon and it wasn’t really bad it was just a little bend on the back of the book something that was fixable. Other than that one time they surround the books with air filled bags which seem to protect them very well.

From my experience with Amazon, the manga will be slightly damaged pretty much all the time. Idk if I’m being picking but usually the top and bottom edges look ever so slightly worn. I guess they’re in “very good” condition and not mint
That’s true. Considering the fact also that they do not put any stuffings will lead to the book moving around inside the box. Thus the edges will really get dinged. One thing is for sure good about them though is the speed if delivery, I’ll give them that.

I have not had any bad experience with Amazon so far. Except this one time when I realised my parcel was opened. Possibly a local customs check. And I found a baby scorpion in my box. Which was not native to my country lol.

I ordered all 14 deluxe editions of berserk on Amazon, 8 volumes got lost in transit idk if that’s bad luck but fuck Amazon I was so excited to read
rightstuf is really good with their shit but the shipping be killing it at times the vagabond manga i’ve bought from amazon have all come in pretty near mint except for the corners being slightly damaged
For sure, if you order some back logs they usually wait for them to be in stock then they ship all of your stuff in one go.
The only excellent condition manga I’ve gotten from them was Punpun, which was also sealed
Yup, I guess it also has something to do with the seller, on how they send them in at Amazon. But I think Amazon should also check whether or not the item is well packaged. They should have at least a "quality control" on how to package it.

Nah, I just went and glued the chipped part to avoid further damage.
I'm really nervous to order Berserk Deluxe Editions from Amazon because they're too expensive to get damaged in shipping. I have no choicce tho as most of the volumes are out of stock in my country.
So far, all my previous orders from Amazon are good/only has minor dents even with the lack of bubble wrap or seal

Does anyone else have a problem with vagabond vizbig volumes pages falling apart?😭
I heard some people have that issue, but that was for the Dragon Ball series. So far, I have not yet encountered that problem with my collection.

is it in rightstuf? unfortuantely, I haven't really checked with how the series is doing lately. One thing you could do is just check out from rightstuf even if they are out of stock for now. At least, you will secure a spot once they get their hands on those.
My aot manga boxes are also damaged and so are the manga itself, literally their picture they use to sell the manga on amazon is damaged they couldn’t even be arsed to use a picture of a non damaged book😂

@@mikodongman362 yeah man since im not someone that reads manga or is a collector i just wanted to have these manga sets since its my first anime ive ever watched and i wanted to have a physical reminder of it. maybe i can show it to my kids one day, and it really sucks that its damaged since its just for display.

They are lazy with packaging, I sent back 3 volumes of spy x family this week, due to damage.
Everything from Amazon I buy, is damaged and beat up.

@@mikodongman362 absolutely no protection on my Vinland saga books, there was room for them to slam around in the box and big dents on all of them, as far as vagabond one of the covers came folded in half and the rest had dents on the spines
