There are many different types of RV water filters at different price points that filter out different things, so it depends on what is in your water and which filter you buy. You need to know exactly what is in your water and whether a specific filter removes it. We are unaware of any filter that removes sulfur, which makes the water stink like rotten eggs. Deborah had to get a chlorine treatment system to eliminate that. ~Abby
