I've always used Dark prince, 1 less legendary to worry about. Reached 7k with that...This season thinking about maxing out the ghost. In challenges I mostly used Ghost, so now thinking about giving it a shot on ladder too. I want to reach at least 7.3k this season

@@skunnerhd8409 I think when people use Dark Prince they also replace magic archer with minions . So I just want to clear my doubt
@@PRIYANSHUKumar-hy2zm Minions are now not a good option...Magic archer also works as a 2nd win condition....It's best to go with Magic Archer now...

It can’t defend as well as a Dark Prince, though. Significantly lower hit speed & DPS. It can’t pull troops from both sides of the lane consistently too. No matter how good / skilful you are with the placements and utilizing his invisibility.
As for pressure, a charging Dark Prince with full shield is a surefire way to make your enemy shit bricks and provoke a reaction. It’s almost always guaranteed value because even a low hp DP can still charge & provoke reaction with its fast movement speed.
Ghost’s invisibility is one helluva mechanic though, guaranteed first hits. Definitely agree on the higher skill cap part.
Also ghost is trash for defending goblin drill. D Prince is way better and it doesn’t get knockbacked by fireball
it's actually nearly as good due to the fact that all of these stat nerfs also are for 1 less elixir. proportionally its nearly the same and you have 1 more elixir to afford something else. I have played both versions a lot before and once I stuck with ghost a lot of things i needed dp for i could get with ghost. Also dark prince can't be put in front of troops or hover over the river, so it gets stuck with the push and since it can be killed while idle distraction units and spells work much better vs. it. it's pressure is there but its really clunky
@@JaxCR Yes I love ghost with that battle ram interaction and the 0.5 second delayed ghost on the same tile. I clutched a game thanks to your tip cos he used goblins and ice spirit to defend the battle ram and the ghost instantly smacked them

Would love to see a video about bandit vs Mini Pekka or Lumberjack. I know they are way less common substitutes than the DP/RG, Fireball/Poison, and MA/Minnions but it would still be cool to hear what you have to say

Nice video Jax, I enjoy your informative content! Question: Is snowball a viable substitution for zap? I feel like it would make defense against hog/gob barrel/balloon easier. I know zap has advantage on instant deploy and retargeting, but I feel like that doesn't help me very often (especially since I have a laggy phone).
I just don't see snowball being able to help as much. This deck really requires the instant timing of the zap, and snowball does not synergize with battle ram all that well. If you really need to you can but I am not personally a fan really.
it’s not a bad idea but the zap reset can be used for great plays sometimes

@@PUETmusic it's cuz when ur opponent is low on elixir, they can never stop a Bandit connecting to the tower, but a golden Knight costs 4+1 to get to the tower, they'd have enough elixir by then
Do this in classic tournament instead. Having fair battles will help show which is better, so levels don't come into play.
this video isn't to prove which one is better directly, you'd need many many more games to do that, it's just my opinion on it. Each of the cards in the video themselves was at an even or underleveled compared to my opponents and their card levels so only my pekka was really boosting things and it was only in the interactions when it was used, almost everything else was against me
I am always switching these two cards. More Tesla leads to more Ghost for me.
Any thoughts on Firecracker sub for MA or Minions?
I am using firecracker instead of magic archer and it not work well against hog Cycle

Hey jax, I’m playing classic pekka bridge with and am decently leveled (14 pekka, 14 battle, 14 zap,13 fireball,12 everything else) and I’m really struggling at around 5500 trophies. It seems that every game I’m playing overlevled players running no skill decks as I call them, the ebarbs, hog spam decks, mega night decks, all the works. Do you have any tips on how to get wins against these 4 wincon decks?
im playing classic bridge spam too with lvl 14 pekka, 12 battle ram, 12 ghost, 12 ewiz and my others cards are 13 and I reached 5600 this season

I agree that royal ghost is better than dark prince but I recently chose to use the dp over the royal ghost since it would be easier to upgrade.

U actually have a lot of skill with this deck u can make a series teaching us how to play every single card in the deck, u know some important placements and quick tips

Is there a possible substitute for the magic archer? In that way I wouldnt have to worry about the royal ghost or magic archer. Thanks for the help
musketeer, or flying machine, i personally recommend flying machine as, as its in the air, its pretty much always protected and gets a lot of value. you can also use dart goblin as its fast and has range, but it does have low health

It's funny how jax goes against everything he said in previous vids on how to play pekka Bridge spam in mid ladder (he used pekka like first play on a knight) lol wp tho
lol i am not the best for demonstrating consistency on my own tips, its because i'm more comfortable with the deck so i know i can usually get away defending underleveled

I stick by Dark Prinz
DPrince is easier to upgrade and it also has a charge. The only thing that's good about ghost is that it can go invisible and its one less elixir.
I prefer DP..

I wish you did this video on your main account cos it’s not an accurate comparison to be going against level 10’s with a level 14 pekka…lol. Also I’d love to know how to beat 2.6 hog
every time i do it on my main people complain about it not being in mid ladder and vice versa. those level 10s also had 13 cards while most of my deck is 10/11 and only the pekka and zap are overleveled. May not be the best guide on how to play it but you'd need more than one youtube video to learn how to play each card anyway

@@JaxCR why not half video covers mid ladder and the other half covers more high ladder gameplay
Jax CR Dont have to be too high, your main is maybe too high, but this one is too low, like anyone with any deck can reach 6k if they just really play the game
you should do mid ladder content between 6k to 7k it will be more helpful 🙏🏼
7k is the real wall for a lot of casual player like us
