I CANT BELIEVE IT. I WASNT ABLE TO SAY "R" FOR ALMOST 9 YEARS OF MY LIFE AND NOW ON 2023 21.41 PM 15 ARPLI I CAN SAY IT . I AM SUSCRIBEING RIGHT AWAY !!!

18 years of mine😢
happy 1 year anniversary help me pls
Literally all my life omgsh
My four year old spells words to the best of his ability sometimes to help us distinguish what he’s saying when we can’t tell because of R sounds. I have been concerned that his difficulty with R’s might be from his corrected tongue tie, but trying just three times to follow your lead he made a fleeting proper R sound each time! What a great technique!!!
I’m 33 years old and you just helped cured a lifelong problem in a minute. Thank you! Best and most helpful explanation I’ve heard
Oh wow, that's incredible to hear. I'm so glad I could help!
Thank you for this video. My son had been struggling for years with the r sound, and now he's basically a pro!
THANK YOU! I have been trying to get my 7 year-old daughter to say r for months and in seconds you gave her just what she needed to know how to form the sound in her mouth! I’m blown away! We all burst out laughing after she did the third step and made a perfect r sound. Thank you so much!
That's incredible!
Incredible technique! Worked like a charm, thank you!
This was very helpful! It is short and clear for my students
I love this strategy! Thanks for posting

Hello professor
Thank you so much for your priceless advice and interesting guidance. I love your way of teaching and excellent explication. I really appreciate your job. I wish you peace and happiness under the sky of prosperity.
Your Student from Algeria.
Wow, thanks a lot! It's an extremely useful advice!
I just used this with my one of my artic groups and it worked! I've taught them bunched vs retroflex and we've even used the flossers to encourage proper tongue placement. Two of my kiddos found success with the method you demonstrated!
That's fantastic!
Great! I teach Haitian Kreyòl & French students and they struggle with r & w. This should surely help us. Blessings. ❤
I recently began teaching my Turkish physician beginners english. Hes having more difficultly with his r's than anything else. Ill try this.
This is super helpful! Thank you

Do you have a video for pronouncing the “-er, -ir, -ur” sound in “water”, “fur”, or “circle”? Thank you!
I have some videos about this on Instagram! Just know that your tongue moves QUICKLY. In a word like "fur" we go straight from the F to the R. It's written with a vowel but in terms of what speech sounds we say, there's not truly a vowel to give us time for that transition.
nice.
That helped highlight the problem for my almost 4 yr old. She can’t get step 2 or three. -Her tongue is long and she just doesn’t k know how to control it yet, like keep it behind her teeth. She sticks her tongue out beyond teeth or lays it down in her mouth, behind the front bottom teeth. So we would def have to work up to these steps
Just seeing this! I wouldn't expect a 4 year old to be able to follow these steps so no worries! Instead, I would try playing around with animal and motor sounds- lion roar, motorcycle vroom, etc.
What about trill?
Actually it's a pretty good one
Hi im 14 years old and i cant say letter r but now i feel better to say
I’m so badly tongue tied, this didn’t work for me…I had to learn a modified dark L for my R’s…but hey, no one knows about my impediment now unless I’m upset and it slips out.
Ah, yeah retroflex would be trickier for a significant tongue tie! Glad you've found something that works for you though.
I can't say l and r 🙃
How to pronounce the word Netherlands, for example, with the retroflex R? It seems impossible
I just pronounce it like neth a lands
It's my first time in 14 years that I said the letter "R"
I sounded like a cat that is throwing up
genuinely helped a little, i’m 15 and have trouble pronouncing my r’s, it’s really bad
now is it successful?
@@hassanzainol i gave up
@@hassanzainol but actually when i try and make the r tongue position, i can tell a big difference so i’m going to keep practicing
@@Folas-Gamingsame but idk if i can do it cuz im hk but i rly wanna do it cuz all my friend from other contry can do it except for me ;-;
I'm also 15 and can't say it, literally one of my biggest insecurities😭 did it work at least for you?
People don’t réalise that having a speech impedement makes it fucking impossible to be respected by others and taken seriously
wow hoo i did haha
Милашка
This didn’t work, I’ll sound like the stupid child
@mickey-17 i don't know why I can't add reply there... How can i help you bro
