If you watch the yamaha rx100 engine rebuild part-2, you will get better understanding. Likewise, dismantling is opposite of assembly so it will not be a problem.

One doubt. Is the Guide washer between spring and spacer is steel or aluminum. I have a peculiar issue in my RX 100 . My front left fork gives katak sound in uneven roads. If I change the fork oil , there will be no sound for a week. Again the sound develops. Mechanic say fork oil is getting thin in a week so looks like the sound comes . I have changed the spring, but still issue persist. Yesterday have changed the guide washer from steel to aluminium as mechanic said it is not allowing spring to function freely. Waiting for a week to check actual outcome.
