I’ve had a relatively painless climb through the WCS Qualifiers, but you’ll see from some replays that a bricked hand and simple plays were enough to defeat the best decks if you disrupt at the right moments.
Don’t underestimate the power of Naturia Beast, which can shut down a number of decks before they even start playing. There were times when I bricked, but if all I can do is summon Beast for a spell fooodgate, I’m going for it.
The same logic applies to Sky Prison. If all I can do is summon 2 Horus monsters, then I’d take the chance and summon out Sky Prison for a graveyard floodgate rather than hoping my Horus effects get triggered.
For the Extra Deck, if you’re able to resolve Crimson Dragon, then it’s personal preference to run either Red Supernova Dragon or Cosmic Blazar Dragon.
Final Sigma rarely comes up, but I like to have it just in case because it doesn’t require Crimson Dragon and can simply be summoned with a Horus and Camellia. Accel Synchro Stardust and Baronne are there if you choose to run the Gamma package, which is highly recommended. I’ve experimented with techs like Sharnga for Baronne, which I found to be fun, but it’s not optimal for this variant. There were some duels when I wish I had a second SP Little Knight to link into. Garunix Eternity is also a good ED rank 8 XYZ option, which I forgot to note in the video. Zeus is probably more of an optional card as well, seeing as I’ve summoned it out exactly 0 times in probably 100+ duels.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video! It’s a fun deck, but I do caution like many, does brick at times. Going first is ideal, but I’ve won many duels going second thanks to hand traps. Horus gives the deck really nice follow up / one turn kill ability as well.

great deck! i threw in numeron dragon, hope harbinger, and draglubion instead of mathmech syncro, and the 2 sr xyzs. sky prison is cool, but not being able to use his affect on the opponents turn, kind turned me off for him, then lancelot, im just not much of a fan.

Absolutely, Number 100 Numeron is great. I forgot to note that in the decklist, but I do run it in a different Horus variant. Lancelot is a very specific/technical card, so is very situational. And Final Sigma is very rarely used. Sky Prison’s effect is lingering and lasts until the end of the opponents turn, so can really slow down decks and buy you an extra turn. With how much Horus I’ve seen, it’s actually really nice because opponent can’t use their own Horus lol

Ohh,I didn't realize it was through their turn! That's much better then!

@@corycox7454 yeah! You activate its effect on your turn (after you finish all special summons from your own GY), and if it resolves, your opponent is locked out through their entire turn :)
