The thing that is really annoying in this anime are pestering friends. They just wont let the mc alone and at peace.
Personally the pestering and such is just really entertaining to watch, even how the protagonist deals with people in the anime. Even though they won’t leave him alone, and we know how it’s gonna end up in the end, it’s just funny seeing how the OP meets different people in a more chilled mood/not so tensed up- anyway I stop my rant, what I mean is some of us are so bad at communicating we could learn a thing or 2 from him 😅

I don't think this part is bad though because it is what made the people around him start contemplating. I haven't seen the anime yet but I read the manga and it made sense to me.

They made this anime abundantly clear. He has been rejected multiple times and she doesn't take interests in him, but when he finally realize he's not meant to be with her, he completely kept his distance and ignored her. And now you got her jealous because every girl flirts around with him, and she has a problem with it.
I think this is the most understandable anime that has ever made. Being rejected multiple times by a girl you fell in love with, and then understanding the problem, and keeping your distance from and ignored her.
This is probably one of the weirdest anime logics but it does happen in real life too 💀

Very realistic. A guy constantly gets rejected by the girl being a typical anime tsundere and when he finally decides that he should give up and move on, ya know... like a normal person in that situation, she gets mad that he's not being lead on by her anymore and that he's talking to other women.
You can't get mad because he was rejected so many times and you aren't in a relationship with each other.
The only thing that would make this an even better and more realistic situation is if the guy decided after 2 or 3 rejections instead of kinda being a stalking creep about it.
From what I've read, he didn't really just decide to stop because of that, he still does like her but when some ball had a near miss with his face and he "woke up", he started thinking he was no good for her so he started being distant (even though chasing after her constantly before was what made him improve as a person hence why the other characters find it weird that he's like that all of a sudden). I like that this made the girl start contemplating her feelings for him though, among other people like his sister. I don't know why people dislike these teenagers being... teenagers. As cringe as it sounds, I was kinda like him once when I was like 12. Though I didn't know what to do with my feelings other than gladly profess them because I really am kind of sheltered so not as impressive as his moment.
@@CommissarChaotic Well, people tend to let their emotions lead, when this shit is normal. Everyone LIKES to think they are above all this, but everyone is painful, one way or another, and those who truly aren't at a young age NEVER think of themselves as above anything and are down-to-earth.
That being said, it depends on how stupid the show does it. Execution is key. If the same kind of cliche is just reused a 1000 times, then obviously it would exhaust most people, one example being Sakura, though I personally find her overhated. Shows like GAMERS, though, that is a peak example of beating on dead undead horse, not only was the repeated misunderstandings getting very old, they also were very dumb and need not 1 sec of quite literally common sense to not even go there, but you know, haha funny, so lets make everyone dumb so I can force the funny and push the plot. Like how recent Star Wars fights are so badly choreographed, they thought Kylo Ren blocking with his back FACING the enemy *PREEMPTIVELY* was cool when there was a full second for the enemy to hit somewhere else but hit the lightsaber anyway. Forced stupidity is forced, same with any other kinds of forced element.
Shows that are forced, be it action, romance, comedy or SoL are just... painful. I don't even mind an utterly stupid show if it has a good flow to it, that's how masterpieces like Gintama and D-Frag are made, shows so stupid they are fkin brilliant.

The dumpster fire that is the modern tsundere is indeed awful. The classic definition is not even strictly romantically involved with the male lead, but is rather a foil, a bitingly sarcastic person who pokes holes in the arrogance of the male lead to force them to mature.

Everyone claiming its the girl's fault are utterly clueless, choosing to ignore how blatantly messed up MC's original behaviour was that led to the girl rejecting him as often as she did, she basically developed a weird minor form of stockholm syndrome getting so used to his bullshit that when he suddenly took it away she was left confused. If anyone reads the novel, you would hate the mc instead.
What really happened is, he started to develop an inferior complex, and thought that he was not worthy of her, so he tried to distance himself from her, but he also didn't really give up at all, and started to act like a simp. He also wants to match the girl with another guy.
Meanwhile the girl just thought of him as a friend, she never really developed feelings, and it's more of a manipulation tactic of being pushing her then all of a sudden start to ignore her to get her attention.
The anime and manga might be better if they change the mc personality into an actual mature person who actually would end the trope and move on.
But the novel version is basically the genetic inferior complex mc template.
In the novel, it feels like the mc growing backward, as the story progresses, we see his past and it feels like his past self was actually a more mature person than what he is now.
