Okay, I'm SO intrigued by this music video because I read Mod's interview with Forbes saying how it's about this lady wanting to collect every piece of Mod Sun including Mod Sun himself, but I got a completely different meaning from it upon first watch. My initial understanding was that the older people in the video were meant to represent Mod's "old life" - they were forcing him to stay there even though he wanted to break free and get away + they were drowning him and making him feel helpless + on top of that they were asking him to put on a facade of happiness when in reality he was broken inside. I took that as a metaphor for his old vices and addictions holding him back and nearly destroying him. Then when he finally manages to get away he goes back to the gravestone that used to be all gloomy and dusty in the Flames MV (his past), and finds that it's now colorful and vibrant with flowers blooming all around it and Avril standing there to greet him, which represents his bright future now that he's in a good mental state and has found someone who genuinely loves him and can help him move forward -- "I have no past when I see ya, amnesia, you make me think of my future, I need ya".

That BEAUTIFUL woman with the half green & half white hair is named Whitney Hall. She’s an incredible actor and such an inspirational person who I absolutely look up to. As a struggling actor in my earlier days, reaching out on forums for small roles and one-liner work, Whitney contacted me and got me set up with a few agency-interviews and auditions. Within a few days I was picked up by an LA Agency she had recommended me to- I will always love this beautiful human being!

I saw modsun back in 2007 when he wasn’t famous yet, at the conservatory in OKC. He literally was only there to play drums for Scary Kids Scaring Kids because he was friends with them and the drummer was sick or something and came on after Dance Gavin Dance and they decided to cut their time short in order to let mod rap a few of his songs. (His cover of don’t knock me down which is amazing) and another I can’t recall but. Just out of the kindness of their hearts let him perform and it was magical. Had more people moving than all the bands did and we were all there for DGD. he’s amazing dude. I miss that crazy long blonde hair mod he was so happy. But this dude fucking rocks. Keep it up man
