Everything is great! As far as living in this world and not neglecting our current life and karma.. But you missed the most important part.. full surrender to Krsna and realizing him as God. In chapter fifteen he speaks of his spiritual world that once we go there we never come back and we enjoy with him eternally. In the final chapter Krsna says in the end to simply surrender everything to him and become fully absorbed and dependent on him.. It is by this true selfless surrender and letting go of our ego that we allow Krsna to save us eternally from the ocean of birth and death. Moksha is not enough, as long as we have material desires we are not safe from falling back into the material world. The main secret of Gita is to become a diligent servant of God. And realize and remember our eternal relationship with him… which you touched on a little bit. This is the true meaning of life, because Krsna is always with us as our most secret and intimate friend..

Krishna tells Arjuna that only directly hearing this from him can it be fully understood.. ie. Imagine when reading the Bhagavad-Gita you are Arjuna confused about killing uncles and cousins in battle. Krishna tells him do not worry as he (Arjuna) is born a warrior and therefore its his duty to kill when required. And that because souls are eternal he in fact kills no one.. so go into battle fighf to your best ability and do it for God , care not for the result and all will be well. If you apply this in your life, wake up awash dress and hit the day unconcerned by fear of siccess or failure then all will be well.. its a very freeing speech..but ofyen much empgasis is put on Dharma and duty.. which can be confusing..read the book yourself and see how it effects you..not othe4s commentary..only krishna can truly explain it
