I don't understand people that don't like Disturbed. This band is still kicking ass, they are one of those bands that has the perfect formula, good music to get motivated.

My best guess would be that how early in there career they were in a sea of 'angry metal' bands that all had a kinda similar sound. But they've very much refined their style over the years, finding the right balance between anger and message.
Some people just get bored listening to the same old thing honestly. I heard this song for the first time today and it sounds more or less the same as their music from years ago. That's extremely boring to me
@@gffjjuu2697 Yea I agree with that. They found something that speaks to the lowest common denominator and they just keep reprinting it, essentially. It's not bad, but it's not original either. They've always done great covers, though. I'll give them that.

My grandpa’s funeral was a couple Fridays ago, and I was really feeling low after it was over. I got home, sat down, checked my phone, and Disturbed had just announced that new music was coming very soon. The timing couldn’t have been better to cheer me up.

There are few bands that still remain relevant and manage to put out amazing music. I'm 46 and Disturbed has been my favorite band since I heard Down With the Sickness! You guys manage to keep your sound, amazing tone yet throw in new sounds. The timing & message are aligned perfectly 🥰

There is something so hauntingly beautiful about the screenshot of this comment string. It makes me feel stripped down to that most vulnerable part of myself that I fear the most and cannot escape from, the truth. I remember being 13 years old listening to the indestructible album in that time I used to get bullied about my weight so I would workout to disturbed for hours.
12 years later I am 25 in the best shape of my life it feels like they came back in a more evolved version of myself.

@@rickycook2750 They did not. He actually talked about it halfway through the show. They met with fire marshals hours before going on trying to figure out a way they could do it even to a small degree but no agreement could be made. He was pissed about it and voiced his displeasure, but I guess the acoustical shell that surrounds the stage just wouldn’t allow for it
@cfoz8612 Aww, that sucks! Sorry you didn't get to witness that. Yeah they had flame shooters (about 8 maybe) at different angles and sparks would rain down from above sometimes on certain songs.

22 years ago when I first heard David sing "OH AH AH AH AH" I was hooked and knew they were destined for greatness. My friends didn't think they were going to be that popular and man does it feel good to know that I was right. Disturbed is one of the greatest bands in my lifetime.

It really does and honestly I waited and waited and heard the rumor that Disturbed was getting back together back in 2015 I kept telling everybody at work how excited I was and everything and then good morning I woke up and I got a notification from Apple music at the time saying disturb has released a new single I wake up every morning usually the drive hour and a half 2 hours to where I work as American firefighter I downloaded it while I was taking a shower and I hit the truck and I probably played it at least seven times on my way to work that morning it also kind of feels and hits the same because that was the first song they came out with when they had got back together or at least released this song has that same feel sort of because I wasn't a huge fan of Evolution at first. It took a while for it to grow on me at first I wanted to throw it away so this is the first song that I'm getting after Evolution and it gives me that same feeling that I got when I heard them for the first time back together. Disturbed is back motherfuckers... And with a message.

@@millermann123 Not true. Remember Darkness & Remember on the Believe album? Both great songs! People weirdly seem to obsess over Down with the Sickness too much & think that's the only album they have.
As a side note, The Sickness is an overrated album. The 1st like 4 tracks are hard & great, yeah, but after that all the tracks on the album were very repetitive & boring, and had almost no meaning to them, & the album had Zero guitar solos or ballads or variety. Meaning of Life, which should've been named Psycho, was good & Dropping Plates was funny sure & their cover of Shout (2000) was good, but other than that meh. But, Disturbed has never been like Death Metal! Which I like about them, they're understandable! And accessible, for anyone wondering about metal/hard rock. I like this song! Awesome verses! & the chorus is growing on me. It deserves more credit. Honestly, Disturbed deserves more credit, and more open-minded fans.

I have taken my 67 year old mother to 2 separate Disturbed concerts since they started again because she has been listening to them with me since they started when I was in high school. :) age doesn't stop you from enjoying amazing music!
It's been over 20 yrs since I first saw Disturbed at a bar called Champs on the Southside of Chicago.
I was blown away. I knew that night they were gonna make it big. Champs became their "home bar" to play at. All of us that hung out there went to every show they played at all over the Chicago music circuit. They even included a shot of us in their "Liberate" video.
They far and away exceeded even my grandiose expectations. They have become "Icons" to tell you the truth.

This band is a forever favorite of mine. As well as just the idea I highly respect. To get up on here and be upset about things, but to not be an upset person. What really makes them upset is to see us let ourselves down. Much like myself I don't get mad at what people do just the way they think.

Bought this record at Walmart having not really listened to disturbed that much besides their biggest hits and WOW I was blown away, it’s definitely the best album I’ve listened to in a long time
so what i get out of this is the more we're fighting eachother the more someone else(usually the bigger guy) is getting more power of it
frankly,, i never cared about Disturbed,,band ,until I Actually listening to them one day, a couple of years ago,,WOW, lol,,It’s amazing how talented these men are and I fell in love with them..
I myself think like that of most bands, until at least one song gets me hooked. If they do that, i start hearing other songs and determine if they are good. I knew disturbed because of down with the sickness, then I listened to indestructible, and that was it. Got hooked. Amazing guys and very good music.

From making edgy music "Down with the sickness" to sending out messages that need to be heard by everyone. This song is now my new favourite. Thanks to my dad I listen to disturbed from the age of 6. I was a rap guy, thanks to my dad I changed my preferred taste in music and I don't regret it :D Hopefully someday, we will all hear these messages

Crazy thing is Iv been recovering from a broken hip doing nothing then a stranger literally hit me up on Facebook and asked if I wanted to go. I never met this person till today. I told them I couldn’t afford it cus Iv been outta work since July. They where like, “Iv got a ticket for you for free”. My gut said go and I went … now it feels like I’m fully recovered and a message you made during your performance really hit home. @Omar Yañez Zavala Saw them at the fox theater in Detroit when 10,000 fists was out. They have that extra element live that they never pick up recording on the album. If you haven't saw them live I suggest to check them out at least one.
First Ozzfest I went to at SPAC there was this new Band performing on a side stage aka the lawn. They played three songs for anyone there early enough to catch them. Voices, down with the sickness and stupified! That’s when it all started for me. They hadn’t even released their first album yet.

I remember when my sisters boyfriend at the time when I was just a teenager, gave me their first album The sickness and ever since they have been one of my go-to bands 11 years later, they got me thorugh some hard times. If you'd look at their interviews, they seem to clearly understand the overuse of technology and people not communicating. The lyrics in the songs say what they say. Taken at face value, the message from various songs are pretty straight forward.

Even their music that some have claimed wasasell out, like The Light and Reason to Fight are awesome!! Plus, David has said in numerous interviews that those songs about addressing societal issues that important to them and the biggest thing for them is being to like what they see when they look in the mirror!! This song is further proof!! I love the fact that are old school in making videos because they really bring the message of the songs alive!!!

@@ax1054 so as you suggest eberyone has an opinion you then state the "truth" disturbed is extremely distanced from normalcy in their genre. There were only a few bands with some similar qualities who survived the early 2000's. Disturbed speaks on real struggles and does it in a methodical way with davids unique vocals following the drum patterns.

I'm getting an Immortalized vibe from this, but there's little bits in the delivery that remind me of Evolution. I suppose that's one of the greatest strengths of Disturbed. Their music evolves, yet remains immediately identifiable. They haven't lost their roots, but aren't held back by them either.

This came out the night I had put a weapon to my mouth. With all the problems and stress I’ve been under all my life was getting to me. Disturbed has had my my back since I was a kid and when I was in the Army. This is exactly what I needed to hear and it means so much. Anyone in this world can change for the better, you just have to have the right mindset…

Are you serious? This sh*t is horrible. It sounds more like the last album. Not even a guitar solo. Disturbed will probably never go back to their peak, which was Indestructible. After that it started going downhill, even though I consider “Asylum” and “Inmortalized” great albums. This last one not so much.
