My brain is fried cuz I just noticed that everyone accent to me sounds one second African & in a split second South African British then out of nowhere no accent at all, it's trippy cuz I'm hood Hispanic American in Accent XD what the heck?

South Africa was colonized by Britain(we only got independence relatively recent around the 1930s), so The South African English accent and is more inline with the British. Though since I'm South African myself I can easily distinguish between the two, but they is also alot more at play since most black people in South Africa speak English as a second language but learn English really young(personally started at 5) so they/we speak it fluently so you wont hear what most people consider to be an african accent unless someone is purposefully emphasizing it to make a point
