Welcome!
news 23 here. we have just heard of a dam collapseing at the strong hold subdivision, i'm Phil upshaw and as 9:45 we have someone on site to bring us the latest update. Karl Mudder is live...Phil: what kind of name is Mudder? Karl: it's my name Phil and i am standing at the site of the strong hold dam collapse...Phil: doesn't seem it held up to it's name karl. Karl: what? Phil: strong hold. didn't live up to it's name...strong...hold. Karl: are you trying to make a joke phil. Phil: i'm going for rateings karl. to lighten up a tragic event...that...Karl: yes a tragic event not something to "lighten" up on. Phil: i understand you have some survivors with you karl! Karl: yes. I have here standing with me 2 survivors of this as phil said tragic event. so your names please. I'm Elen and this is Earl Windbreaker we...Phil: wait, wait wait. what kind of name is windbreaker? Karl: it's a native american name. Phil: yeah but couldn't you have them change it for the interview to something more american like Carol and Bernie Johnson or Barbara and Mike Winstead. Karl: no phil i can't have them change their names. it's Elen and Earl Windbreaker. so now Earl tell us...me in your own words what you experence. Earl: i was standing with my wife here looking at the sunset, so beatiful at this time of day, we Phil: get them to the point karl. Karl: so that is when you saw the water raiseing? Earl: yes we were standing there, i'm the one in the yellow rain coat at the forefront of the tape and watched the water just raise and get deeper. soon it was up over the first wall and that caved in and then the houses and cars were cascadeing down the dam wall and being washed out to the river along with our friends and neighbers. Phil: wasn't it stupid to build your house on top of a earthen dam. Karl: i wouldn't use stupid at this time phil. Phil: well i think our viewers would want to know why they put a house or why any of them put a house on top of a earthen dam. didn't they know one day this would happen. Karl: I dont think...Elen: i'll answer that. we have lived here for over 35 years and nothing would make us think this would happen. those who lost their lives and homes never even gave it a thought. the creek that ran below us was even after a storm wouldn't get more then a foot deep. Phil: but today it took your home. Karl: are you argueing with these people. they just lost their home and all their belongings. Phil: look. there are people out there who want to know why build there heck with their lose... Earl: for 35 odd years nothing could make us believe this could happen. i survived because we were lucky. we heard that a major strom dumped a 100 year rain fall about 60 miles upriver and it raced toward us giving us no warning to get out of there. climate ch....Phil cuts off the feed. Karl: Phil what happen i lost you. phil...phil...Phil: Karl we can not use the words climate change on air. there is a list of words we can not use on air because many of our viewers do not believe in climate change. Karl: it's just his opinion he was...Phil i do not care what break winds opinion is....rateing karl, rateing. this could be my ticket to the big time if i get the right footage and interview. my last raise i moved out of the small apartment and into a penthouse with the bear eats dog and child event last year and i'm not letting some tree hugger stand in my way. Karl: phil we live in a town of a little over 5000 people our station is out in the middle of no where. the only ticket you will get is one to the county fair and as for your penthouse. didn't you move over smokey joes b.b.q hut into the rooms over it. Phil: we will be back after a word from our sponcer. genes house of gaters.
Wow..
I love your videos! Please keep up the amazing and satisfying work ^^

A unique one.
Glad you think so
So when watching some video couple days ago, I thought of a really cool series you can do:
So you try to build a sturdy dam with an actual spillway, likely made out of those bricks and plates, and when water reaches it you start a timer, and try to make a dam as long as possible (you pump the water out of the other side)
Then repeat it making a cool series, trying to last longer each time
Cool idea! Thank you very much!
Imagine you are just a guy trying to enjoy a beautiful day and then water just swallows you whole🤣
Lol xD
Maybe try using mortar with the bricks next time?! 🥴
May be :)
You should make a whole city version
And how is he gonna do dat?
Wow...
Idk
5:12 bro stand up😂
:D
It probably won’t
Nightmare fuel for Dutch people.
Where do you get those people figures and those cool car models you made every 7 year jealous even gave them a pain of destroying such models

So the embankment walls held off the floodwater so long that the ground seepage went the long way and caused a major delaminating of the rear wall?
Should have had butt armor, smh.
I think about it..
Why tf i'm watching this (and find it interesting?)
