OMG, this is so cool! Just popped up in my Recommended for some random reason, and I'm glad I clicked on it! Sometimes (because I'm a piano player), on solo/duo gigs, I'll play the tumbao in my left hand and montuno in my right hand.
Also interesting (and cool!) how this is in 3-2 clave!

God i love it when there's a real double bass in salsa, prefer it over the baby bass

I am looking to get one, but I'm deciding between the two types. Do you think I should get a baby bass or a real acoustic? I am also a classical pianist and I want to play classical on the bass but I think for salsa purposes the baby bass has more bass, which is what I want. However, the baby bass doesn't have a bow which I need to use for classical
