I love you, guys. Your commentary is always on point because you actually know and have been in kpop long enough to know what's going on and yes, some people might not like this group since it was announced but that always happens with sm new groups lol. All I know is that these four girls are amazing!

If you know FX earlier discography they also had a unique sound that a lot girl groups are doing, their was also had chants, electronic, with the only difference that unlike others FX had vocals for days.
So Aespa gives me Fx vibes( I don’t think new kpop fans know FX- Electric shock), with the exception that they have an Ae concept world.

Omg I was thinking the same exact thing!! It gave me major Electric Shock vibes! Oh man, I miss Fx so much!!😭😭 So excited for Aespa though!!
Fx didn't have vocals for days when they first debuted. They were so criticised in their early day for being bad compared to girls' generation. Then when fx was in hiatus, Luna improved so much that she became better vocalist than most main vocalist in 2nd gen.

As always another great reaction - I just hope that SM doesn't end up blocking this or giving you a strike - it's getting worse and worse (Form of Therapy just posted a video that he will no longer be doing SM reactions with music because they have really gone after him). I would hate to see you not do SM anymore because I know you both are SM stans and love watching your reactions
Oh man, we hope not either! We've never had an issue with SM reactions before, so hopefully it will continue that way~
Not everyone has those issues though, and people have being saying that it has to with UMG (the us company) blocking and in the US you can’t even react to MVs without it being blocked b/c is just not allowed.
I think there are ways to react to it, some reactor was talking about putting the volume at a certain level so that the mv doesn’t get blocked maybe these reactors are doing something right, that’s why they don’t get blocked.
It's definitely UMG because we have had videos blocked before by them. We do like to keep the volume at a lower level despite viewers complaining that they "can't hear the song", but we usually will heavily edit the reaction if it gets blocked (happened recently with our MONSTA X reaction)

A lot of ppl didn't like the song, but though it took me until 2nd listen to get really into it, I now love it. I love SM girl groups so I wasn't surprised I ended up liking it. A lot didn't like RV's debut either and look where they are now!

The “girl“ with the short hair at the end was a boy and a hint for KAI's upcoming solo. The other girl at the end with the butterfly was a hint for Boa's upcoming comeback. It is true that Sm Entertainment is thinking of adding up to 3 members to Aespa but nothing has been decided yet. We'll see

I'm excited to see Red Velvet finally have a little sister group, but to be perfectly honest the song and video left me a little underwhelmed...
The girls are obviously gorgeous and great singers and dancers, but if you take away all the CG there is nothing that I haven't seen or heard in a hundred other Kpop groups.
I'm guessing they want Aespa's concept to be a bit more straightforward to appeal more to an International audience.

While this choreo looks too hard, it eont be if u are flexible. Its a relaxed pose in a sense that its like some stretching and rest after all the nergetic steps prior, but impactful. While SM choreos look tiring mostcof the time, its well thought out(except when members take it into another level to add Showmanship). I am lookign forward to their stages

I absolutely do not agree especially with the vibe that BP has had lately. I personally feel Aespa’s debut song has a harder drop and electronic sound. This group has girl crush concept and that is the only similarity they currently have to BP I believe. Let us see what they will be coming out with in the future. This was a very good debut

Aespa is different they are the mix of SNSD, FX, RV esp their MV this is what SM singnature gg style more of creepy, colorful, 2 sides. Their music is very electronic Hiphop just what FX have, their soft vocals and run is myx of SNSD, and their creepy concept came with RV have two sides......their chereo is lit as well came frm SM, EASPA is not just a SM gg vibes but also have superM/nct angst kick vibes. As an SM Stan for how many years since SJ, SNSD up to now I know AESPA have different taste esp in music so they dnt have similarities of BP in all aspects. What SM always stays at SM. probably similarities of KDA AI but never in a million SM will copy Other ent. concept bcoz SM is already known in KPOP industry for their being as BLUEPRINT. add to that LSM aespa is inspired of NCT/SUPERM/LOONA so dnt say they have similarities for BP bcoz they dnt have...

That's what in my mind... Actually we know RV is way more to go, but as a kpop fan esp SM STAN (bias reveluv) I've never find a ggrp that can matched RV in all aspects esp vocals, but after I've herd them as while now finally I rest assured that red velvet have a crown to pass, more like a music Taste Stan I can finally find a gg which made me satisfied my crave in quality of music taste.
