Thanks for the repost with fixed audio.
HI TOH , thanks for the tips ! 👍😊🛠
For the larger TV do you use multiple bolts for all the cross bars or one longer bolt threw all bars?
the Over Under is 2.5 on posting this again. (Thank you TOH for fixinging the music.)
Don C-M I suggest watch a 13 part series called _What on earth happened_ by Ewaranon to learn that the earth is not a globe.
I got it in my about tab.
Beautiful
I need to know how to mount tv on vinyl siding
That doesn't seem like it would hold through a minor earthquake. Are the bolt holes to bolt it to the arm if you prefer?
Why was this video taken down and re-uploaded? I assume something was edited out?
Excuse me jd I don't know but I suggest watch a 13 part series called _What on earth happened_ by Ewaranon to learn that the earth is not a globe.

Other commenters said the first upload had an audio issue.
1/2" plywood? I'd rather use nominal 2x blocking like for a handicap grab bar.
How much screw thread will you engage w/ 1/2" plywood?
TVs weigh so little these days it really doesn’t matter. 1/2” is more than enough
What do you own ? Dinasour era TV 📺
Some are questioning how heavy tv's are. Samsung 85" weighs 121.5 lbs without the stand. Swing the mount out over the floor where the children are playing and now tell me you still think 1/2" plywood is sufficient. Not!
You can use butterflis anchors , genius
@@OmarGarcia-bi7jq The who guy types _"butterflis"_ sarcastically refers to someone else as a genius. 🤣 🤣 🤣
Apparently 2005 called and made a request.

How high should we install it? I dunno, lets just wing it without even measuring. Should we look at the back of the TV to see where the mount is relative to the height of the TV? Nah. Doesn't that mean the TV could be like a foot higher or lower than it looks like it could be from the mount? Probably.
Snoop Dogg high.
The hardest part of mounting and they skipped over it. Pretty lame.
Center of the TV should be at eye height when you're sitting. Usually around 42-44 inches off the floor. They mounted high but the arm they used should support tilt.
VESA standard puts the mount in the center back of the TV.
@@jamesgarrison5546 center left to right, but not top to bottom. Same with the wall mount. You really want to mount the bracket to the TV, measure where the top of the TV is relative to the top of the mount on the wall. Then you can take where you want the TV to be and work out where that puts the bracket on the wall.
Ah yes, "should" Took me forver to mount mine on studs due to previous construction and not the normal 16" on center due to an electrical outlet in the center of the room. Through all the usual things out the window
Are you supposed to lay tv's down like that? I thought they don't work after you do that?
Nah it’s fine for plasma and LED TVs (which are all the flat screen TV these days). Where they told you not to lay a TV down are with the old Cathode Ray TVs (the ones that were really deep back in the 70s-90s)

Find a couple of studs? I think we're looking at them 😁😁😁
Something's definitely weird at the TOH channel.

Or just use snap toggles, and mount the TV in the right place without a plywood backer. Hitting studs and using backers was definitely necessary when we were hanging plasma displays that weighed as much as a Ford Escort, but that Insignia in the demo is probably like 7lbs.
You did not secure the tv to the mount at all. If they unknowingly tilted that tv up while moving side to side the tv can come off the bracket. Always put at least one securing screw in after putting the tv on the wall mount !! @TOH safety should be shown as it's important
I also wondered why they didn't show securing it.
