In this Disneyland Los Angeles travel day vlog, we cover the flight with American Airlines from Orlando International to LAX, our journey and transfer from LAX to Anaheim and the Howard Johnson check-in process and room tour!
We start our travel day by arriving at Orlando International airport after checking out of extended stay America and saying goodbye to our time in Orlando. We headed to check our bags in (mine was overweight whoops) haha!
We went through security and headed to grab some breakfast inside the terminal. We got a Wendys for the first time and grabbed some snacks from the shop before heading over to our gate. Our flight was delayed unfortunately but we soon got underway! Onboard the flight we had a quick nap and chilled, our flight time was around 4 hours and 40 minutes to LAX (Los Angeles), we landed and grabbed the shuttle bus over to the uber/lyft pick up area and got a Lyft over to the Howard Johnson Anaheim. This took around 45 minutes and cost us $55.
Arriving at the Howard Johnson Anaheim, we check-in to our Room and give you a full room tour, we were in one of the older rooms and show all the amenities included. We chilled, got ready then walked about 15 minutes over to Downtown Disney to have a look around, get our bearings and do some shopping. We decided to have a look around Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and had a quick service dinner/lunch at Craftsman Grill. We decided to then look around the Disneyland Hotel and explore the Fantasia Shop and Small World Gifts merchandise locations!
By this point we were pretty exhausted so decided to head back to the Howard Johnson get a chick-fil-a delivered to the hotel before getting an early night ready for our first full park day at Disneyland🐭✨
