Exactly , they hoped they could just sweep it under the carpet and move on. But the family bringing in the Dutch team made them realise that it wasn’t going away until a body was found. The questions will remain unanswered because no one is seeking the answers to those questions.

Or, here's a thought: why not tell the ruddy TRUTH about what the funds are actually being used for - such as owed drug money to some very nasty characters? Surely a financial officer could provide a detailed cost breakdown - with receipts, no?

I have to disagree, The answer is in the question.
I've never heard of a missing mountain case having ppl who knew them investigated, very rare cases.
... & That's probably why it was done there.
It's usually just a search. Especially since his friends reported to police "my friends lost in the mountains & hurt by a cactus"
Also, they refuse to say where he was found, but showed the ravine for weeks to the public through tiktok.
now it's "its too dangerous, you can't know where it is".... Not even by drone.
& 100 million % they will never get to view his body, they'll just get his belongings.
If he died instantly, they'll be no bruises. Atall.

  • @ChockHolocaust
    @ChockHolocaust Před měsícem +2

These questions are not being asked, because they are idiotic claptrap from people who are twisting facts, or just plain making stuff up and in some cases, hindering the actual investigation itself by wasting police time with false leads. But for the hard of thinking, here goes...
I and many other people have been back to a few parties from clubs on occasions where, when we got there, we felt tired and just ended up sleeping despite the intent to party all night when we set off for there. It's not that unusual, especially for people who've been on a three-day bender at a festival, taking drugs and drinking loads of alcohol. Being tired from that and lacking good judgement is in no way mysterious in those circumstances, it is what happens. And guess what? It can make you decide to do foolish things when you are in that state, such as walk rather than wait for a bus, or cut across some dangerous terrain as a short cut.
You do not know the car, buildings and phones were not forensically tested or examined. Just because the Guardia Civil didn't tell you personally, or anyone else on CZcams, Facebook, Tik Tok or whatever, that they actually did these things, does not mean they did not. Nor does the fact that there was no footage on the TV news mean it didn't happen either. But you go ahead with your mild racism and keep on imagining Johnny Foreigner has no idea about policing and investigating stuff if it suits you.
The guy who you laughably refer to as a 'UK detective', is a charlatan TV presenter, not a serving police officer and even when he was in the police, it was for a very brief time and not as a D.I. he was a family liaison officer, i.e. a paper-pushing desk jockey. He makes sensationalised 'documentaries' about this kind of missing person case, but his record of successfully solving stuff is non-existent, because he was not an actual investigating officer when he was a cop. Amongst the many things he claimed, was that he'd have cracked the case within three days of his arrival. Hmm, that aged well. His 'evidence' for Jay being 'scared' was not evidence at all, it was him misunderstanding, or more likely deliberately twisting, the transcript of a phone call. The actual words spoken by Jay, which he is getting his claptrap notion from, were when Jay said he 'could not go back', not that he was 'afraid to go back to the Air BnB', because he never even mentioned that place and at the time he made that comment about not going back, he was laughing and joking with his friend Brad. The reason he said he could not go back, is because he was sliding down a shale slope which was too steep to allow him to turn around and climb back up, thus he 'could not go back'. That a guy who claims he is some kind of super detective could not work that out, because he took it completely out of context, tells you all you need to know about his detective skills.
I could go on, but you get the idea. We've had people claiming Jay was kidnapped on a yacht, was the victim of an international revenge plot, a ransom demand had been made, there was a video of him here, another one there, he was in hiding, he'd been stabbed, he was a drugs mule, and so on. And it's all because people with the attention span of a goldfish need a constant stream of entertainment and gossip for their mobile idiot boxes. So don't pretend you give a crap about the truth, or the family, this is nothing more than ghoulish entertainment for you and all the others who are adding two and two together and coming up with seventeen because it suits them to have something to gossip about and gain revenue from via subscriptions and advertising on youtube etc.

I honestly think jay went to that air bnb to get more gear. The early report was he wanted to carry on partying. Makes sense to go get more from a stash house then bring it back for everyone else who are waiting for your return.
He called to say he was on his way back but sadly i think he tried to take a shortcut after getting lost. He doesnt know the area and he may have been off it when he arrived, at night, in the dark. Places can look v different at night and even more so when potentially smashed after a club. Maybe he genuinely thought he had to go uphill then realised he was wrong and tried to go as the crow flies.
Its incredibly sad but i think a lot of these questions are unanswered and will remain so, people were likely taking or selling drugs and dont want to get incriminated in that.
To be honest i almost hope this was the outcome and not something more sinister.
