It is nice to see somebody travel and support their team and be respectful of the other team at the same time. You were able to appreciate what the coyotes had to offer at gila River arena. A true hockey fan.

I was at the game as well. I moved here from a different NHL city, but I root for the Coyotes 80 games a year lol. Fun fact... the jumbotron is actually from the old Palace at Auburn Hills (Detroit Pistons) who sold it to AZ after moving to Little Caesar's Arena. The ASU years will be fun (I'm an alumni), but definitely come back when after the new Tempe arena is built.
The Westgate entertainment district is extremely popular for shopping and eating/drinking. The Gila River arena will continue to bring in concerts and other rec events. Not to mention, the Cardinals across the street always attracts a lot of fans to the area. (I lived in AZ for 5 years and visited the Westgate maybe 20x)

Its most like gonna turn into a Concert/Event center, probably also hosting State Championships for Volleyball and Basketball (for the high schools).
I visited Arizona back in November when I went to see my girlfriend and made a special trip here and it was amazing. It's sad to see them leave because now that complex will seem a lot emptier.

I’ve felt this as well. We miss the Coyotes, and hopefully there will be some days when Yotes fans can find this video and get a little taste of the team again.
Dude so many many memories there being to over 300+ games there I will miss it, doesn’t help that I drive by it everyday to work
What they DONT want you to see is NHL cities that have poor attendance nights. Arizona has trouble drawing but some teams have ECHL size crowds, and they don't want hockey fans to know because it's too embarrassing!
We love the Arizona fans! There are some really passionate fans in Arizona who deserve a well run organization

One of the realities on the ground here is that Arizona State basically owns the Tempe city council. If they want something to happen, it happens. Right now, ASU wants to share the new Tempe Arena with the Coyotes for their Men's and Women's basketball programs... similar to the deal the Carolina Hurricanes have with NC State.

Spoiler Alert from a Dallas Stars fan, Arizona won 5 to 4 and helped us get a matchup against the Calgary Flames instead of the current Defending Stanley Cup Champions, Colorado Avalanche in the 1st Round playoffs so thank you very much Arizona we appreciate you! We hope y’all do well in Tempe, Arizona!

Yeah, the ASU report was from a reporter that always hated the organization and lied by omission. Center ice will have the ASU pitchfork on the left of center and the Kachina on the right side. It would have been really cool if they combined logos and had the Kachina holding the pitchfork instead of the hockey stick, but licensing you know...
It is just sad that they have now moved to Utah and they have left Arizona completely 😢
