- Brothers Ed and Randy Waites never knew each other existed until a miraculous series of events unfolded after Ed was interviewed by Sacramento NBC affiliate KCRA3 during a vacation to Lake Tahoe. Randy, who lives in the area and happened to see Ed's interview, noticed their similarities which led to the discovery that the two men have the same biological father. The brothers share the surreal experience of meeting each other later in life with Kelly.

What a shame. A dead beat dad has caused all this. Just good the brothers found each other.
I also found out I had an older sister 6 months ago after 52 years. I never knew about her we have the same father but different mothers. Our father didn't appear to know about her either. Our father died 40 years ago so I guess we will never know

So messed up of the Dad to raise one child and leave the other. That is horrible! What a piece of crap of a dad. That dad doesn’t deserve to be a father. He was crap to one child but good to the other. Really sad. At least the brothers seem to care for each other but it seems like the older one gets a bit uncomfortable hearing about his dad when he wasn’t raised by him. Sad. Dead beat dad’s should go to jail.
