Great comparison. The one thing that I almost never see in these videos that would be helpful is a comparison of the raw files. Apple’s photo are ridiculously over-processed, but that can be avoided by shooting raw. I know that only a small percentage of people know how to take advantage of raw, but it can make a massive difference, especially with the new 48mp sensor on the 14 Pro.

@@chrome5725 Samsung RAW is also very good, try Expert RAW that has 16 bit color support.
Comparing jpeg to dng would be unfare.
And I agree with @Rick Taylor, Apples 48mp RAW is very very good. While I let my S22 Ultra in jpeg because the color science is pretty on point with what I want to be posted in social media, I use 48mp RAW with my iPhone 14 Pro and then edit them out as I wish. While I think most people would go for the jpeg shot because they don't have time to edit, it's good that Apple finally added something that benefits pro shooter. I just hope they improve their standard photo mode and make it less processed and bingo Apple would hit the sweet spot

@@bustercolin7507 almost null lol. without expandable storage, there is no point of having raw photos in phone. file size is huge for each photos. General consumers will use regular modes and professional photographers will use actual camera. May be people will take couple of photos but thats it.

Thank you! The thing is, if a photo is extremely natural, it will still not look as nice as how we see the world from our eyes. We look at these photos on monitors and computer screens for the most part, which has also changed our understanding of looking at photos. Considering the majority of the world has slid towards photo and videography on social media, this is kind of the new norm. I grew up in the age of film, so I'm not completely happy with this, but I don't mind it that much either.

No that's not necessarily true, only certain older unused samsung phones blew up, not all and especially not the s22ultra. My s10+ has yet to blow up so y be so sure the s22ultra will when literally no one knows the future and there's no evidence for this to happen with the s22ultra

@@ohyea2k349 S22 ultra launched in February, 14 pro max launched in September, eventhough iphone is behind. S22 ultra no need any hype because it is already proven as one of the best phone out there in the market.
The hype is definitely needed for 14 pro max by saying AOD and notch (sorry it is so called dynamic island , it is nothing but a gimmick)

If you travel and move from one Region to another, this device will not benefit you because it is blocked to the purchase area,,,, I bought the device from the Middle East and traveled to North America. then I noticed that You cannot change the region and you cannot download programs at this region Until 12 months, or you add a new account for this region, and what is not guaranteed works, unlike all mobile phones, and after many attempts with Samsung to unlock it, it turned out that they are unable and the solution presented by them, unfortunately, is an unsatisfactory solution. I regret very much changing my device from Huawei to Samsung s22 ultra.

Like Android phones, Apple is not known for improving the camera through software update. All previous iphones still has all the issues which were present during launch. In fact, s22 ultra might get better with update.

Idk why bright color is important on the galaxy, you can just click edit and adjust saturation/contrast on iphone and get better results. Is so pointless give a point to the galaxy for color and contrast, the iphone shot is more natural to preserve details.

All American Brother, but a tough choice! My experience with their older Samsung, Apple performance/quality was better in many ways!
Iphone is best here. It capture more details in the shadows. But Samsung is more than good enough for most.
I think Samsungs 8k looks so good compared to the iphone but it crops in too much.

Crop and no stabilization are the only two reasons I don't use 8k on my s22 ultra

@@rayray29899 I have to be honest and say that I still find 8K a gimmick personally. I have had my S21 Ultra 15 months and have not recorded one 8K video on it whereas I have shot over 150 4K 60 fps videos so I shoot a lot of material. We do not have an 8K TV and even if we did I imagine my phones 8K videos would not look too impressive on it. Rumour has it that the Snapdragon 8Gen2 chip is capable of 8K 60 video which would be a great technical bragging right but redundant to me as just the potential of thermal problems and large file sizes would put me off on their own.

The thing is you didn’t test it’s pro raw 48 megapixel camera on iPhone that’s whare iPhone is way better and I didn’t see you mention this in the video and natural colors I think it’s better because you can always edit a photo make it look more natural and better but over processed photo outomaticly coming out of a camera I don’t think is good and with out raw even worst because you no choice cause you get what you already have on the Samsung, and quality it’s not so good for photography,when you said iphone catching up I don’t know but every other CZcamsrs and professional photographers and videographers that’s not what they say about iPhones matter fact that’s what they use is iPhones I don’t know what your trying to accomplish or maybe Samsung paying you but only ones who will believe you they must to know nothing about this “ I see this video as your opinion about this two phones that’s it🤷🏻♂️
