His speaking voice is not that low pitched most of the time either. He has insane control over his vocal pitch in both singing/rapping and speaking.
It's pretty interesting to watch videos comparing his high pitched through low pitched voice (I say because his voice is naturally in a tenor range).
@@doubletroublegrays Felix is a baritone not a tenor. Most males fall into baritone range. Felix has an insane range for someone as young as he is.
@@doubletroublegrays he is definitely not a tenor.... tenors range is typically between a B2 to G4 depending on the strength of their higher range. Some can go into the counter tenor range but they are more on the higher tenor spectrum. He definitely can not sing that high.... so he falls into the lower baritone, but I’d say more of a bass with a high extension. Yes he can manipulate his voice between high and low pitch levels.... and is amazing and controlling it.... however someone’s speaking range has absolutely nothing to do with their singing range. I am a lyric coloratura soprano and my range is C4 (on a good day) to a G6 and I can even get into whistle tones (listen to the doll song from Tales of Hoffman-I hit those) but the pitch of my speaking voice is lower than you’d expect someone with my range to have. Regardless.... he has incredible talent for someone so young and since he’s training vocally his skills are only going to improve more and more.
the deep voice guy, felix, might sound intimidating, but he's literally the warmest, kindest person in the world. he likes baking cookies and is super affectionate with the other members, hes such a sweetheart 🥺 he's also one of their main dancers btw 😊
you should check out their song "Hellevator", it's their very first song. not technically their debut song, its a song they made during the reality show they were on pre-debut. it's self written and produced like all of their music, and they were only 16-20 years old at the time!

Omgg yess Stray Kids love the reaction!! They seriously are no joke, their composing skills, dancing, singing, rapping and even personalities are amazing. Fun fact, Stray Kids is self formed, their leader Bang Chan (the one with red hair) chose all the members and formed the group lineup himself. He's also one of the main composers of the group. And yess, their songs are very clever and unique. They use a lot of metaphors that are reflected in their music, lyrics, and choreo~
Also seriously hope you also check out the group Ateez and their mvs for Black Cat, Wonderland, and Hala Hala. I think you will love this group as well!!

An underrated song of Stray Kids is 3rd eye. As I am someone who is used to listen to weirdly structured songs 3RD EYE is amazing.

Because you obviously love rap music so I want to tell you that within Stray kids there is a smaller unit called 3RACHA (they are the three guys who produce all the band's music) and 3RACHA also put out their own songs and these songs are just rap songs, they have amazing rap songs for example: ZONE, P.A.C.E, MATRYOSHKA, DOUBLE KNOT, WE GO, I GOT IT, and many other amazing rap songs that I really recommend you check them out, because I know for sure you'll love them very much.

Stray kids like to experiment with autotune sometimes, one of the songs they've used a heavy autotune in is Any, it fits the vibe very well. But they are absolutely awesome singers and rappers of course :) Stray kids love edm, rap music (Easy, Side effects, Miroh) , but they also make ballads (Ex, Neverending story) and some rock-rap music (Top and Slump- these are also anime opening and ending). 3racha is a producing subunit- Han, Chan, Changbin, they make all of their music together :) they made some 3racha songs too, before and after Stray kids debuted and each one of 3racha members has also some solo music, which is mainly rap focused (Han- I got it, Changbin- Streetlight, Bang Chan - I don't want to admit it, 3racha- Zone, Runner's high, We go). Anyways, thanks for your time!

fun fact: they produce their own songs!! bangchan (red hair) is the leader who does most of the production on the songs and changbin (the opening rapper from god's menu) and han (the guy who changed clothes into the lepord jacket) write most of the songs (tho bangchan does too). the dance team is mainly responsible for the choreo but they all pretty much come up with it (dance team being lee know, hyunjin, and felix)

I totally agree with you about the aoutotune thing. Actually people are using it for making their voice better(!) but if your vocal is not that good, the autotune doesn't work at all. But Stray Kids is something else... the autotune works very well on them cuz their vocals are on point!

they have quite a lot of songs w stylistic autotune, i personally love it when they do that, it's adds an extra flare to the song! here are some songs:
- m.i.a (chill rap song?)(the song is about not knowing who you are anymore, the chorus repeats "i miss you, i miss you" referring to their past selves who were happier and enjoyed life more)(the song title is a play on words, it means m.i.a missing in action and also "mia" in korean means lost child aka stray kids haha)
- gone days (sing-songy rap)(also a play on words, gone days is a song about not dwelling on the past and trying new things for the hell of it, even if people disagree w you. "gone days" sounds like "kkondae" meaning dinosaur, also the slang word for boomers in korean. the leader chan wrote this as a diss track (kinda) for the critics and haters basically that call their music too loud or "noise")
- easy (trap inspired, oozing with confidence)
- any (also trap inspired, idk how to describe it but it's still very good)(this song is about not knowing what to do in certain situations, because there are too many options)("any" 's alternate title is "ani" in korean, and ani means no.)
there are more but these are the best demonstrations of their autotune tracks in my opinion!

Considering your metal/rock background, I highly suggest listening to some Dreamcatcher. Songs I love are Deja Vu, Chase Me, You and I and Good Night. They have a rock sound to it, while their B-sides are more calmer usually, and experimenting with other genres (like Jazz Bar or And There Was No One Left (one of my favorite songs by them))

You really should watch the duality of Felix's voice! It's a mystery science can't explain!
I'm so happy you're loving Stray Kids! They are my favorite group. If you want more rap heavy songs by them I would recommend Easy, Victory Song, Maze of Memories (no MV but it is an entire rap song), and District 9 is like a rock song with super crazy rap verses.
Also, there is a Korean band called FT Island that is amazing and has some pretty heavy rock songs such as Pray and Take Me Now you would love I think.
Since you're a metalhead and want to dive into kpop, you should try reacting to Dreamcatcher! They are a South Korean Girl Group with 7 members, they debuted on January 13, 2017. Their music is inspired metal rock and jpop/jrock. Their title tracks has the most rock elements, their bsides is pretty much diversity of a genre. Can't wait for you to dive more into kpop!

Hi, I love your comments while watching videos, they're often unique comparing to other people who do reaction series on youtube. When it comes to Stray Kids, I definitely recommend checking their live performance of Slump - japanese version and also their two songs - Easy and The tortoise and the hare, which is absolutely great. In the second one they show their rapping skills and play with the tempo of the song, the effect is stunning. I hope you'll like them ^^

their softer song Levanter shows off their vocals along with a very pretty music video, but it's not heavy on the rap. Heavy rap would be Easy, and the TA dance video. You might like their TOP music video too ^^

As a fellow metalhead (more to the speed, power and symphonic side) that was inexplicably dragged into the kpop world, it's very cool to see someone with an open mind and seeing other genres with a kind of unbiased view. I believe people here have given a lot of great suggestions for your next Stray Kids videos, so go for it, man. The one that really got me into the group was Side Effects, the song took a completely unexpected turn for me and was really different from what I expected. Easy and Victory Song are great also. I was gonna suggest you reacted to Dreamcatcher too, but I saw some replies from you saying you already have a video for them, so yay! Haha. The guitars in their songs are pretty cool.
So, yeah, I'll be checking out your other metal reactions too, keep up the great content and stay safe!
