Adam Henson demonstrates how to check the condition score of your sheep -- a job that's essential for monitoring the nutritional requirements of pregnant ewes, helping to detect illness, as well as judging when a lamb is ready for market. I really appreciate all the info I have found online from BBC inc. Lambing Live and these small holder videos. They give me all sorts of tips I've never heard of before (like tickling a newborn lambs nose with straw to help it sneeze the air passages clear). I feel much more confident in my own skills with lambing approaching any day now and less dependent on the vet. Thank you so very much. Too bad none of the videos are available in Canada but I will see about getting them converted. Thanks!

Hi Elizabeth and thanks for your kind comments. We're not the BBC (I wish we had their production budgets!) but work with Vets, Farmers and Experts in livestock husbandry & production to create The Smallholder Series DVDs, we'd love to have them available in Canada and North America, but currently there are copyright limitations - if there's great enough interest we may be able to suppy a wider market!
