I have some of the Braun lights and they are great! They don’t take long to charge and last a long time. Strong magnet and you can angle it so the light is on the work and not in your eyes!
Just bought it today and I love it. Wasn’t spending double the money for a less output light from the snapon truck

Hi Justin love your video's man watch you from the beginning. My name is Scott and i been turning wrenches from 2010 got the icon flood light last year had to warranty it out the third setting is the brightest left it on after a while starting smoking and melted plastic around the center and couple weeks took it back an had to pay 7.99 for warranty for the new light again I even showed the recipe on my phone Like why pay again that's for the old light an haft to pay for new light warranty.
I got that light with the underhood frame. Ended up leaving it attached to a car, so I replaced it with a couple of the Braun ones. They're not as powerful, but they're still plenty bright and for half the price I can always have one charged when the other dies
The Braun lights like that are awesome, esp when they have a % off coupon...u can get em for like $25. I have 4, 2 for the shop and 2 for home.
I also have that Icon light. I accidently left it on facing down and the lens melted. HFT gave me a new one.
When you turn the snappy on hold down the power button it will adjust the brightness level

Those Icon lights identical clones of the Astro Pneumatics from Amazon. Picked up a couple of the 750 lumen For $22 couple months back now they are $30. So prices going up. Durability wise highly recommend them forgot one stuck on frame of trailer at work for over a year accidently found it again while doing a DOT and bam it still worked after charging it lol.
The Braun ones are. The icons are MUCH brighter. Braun is 750 lumens, the icon is 2100 lumens. Side by side there's no comparison.
You can hold the button on the Snap-On to make it brighter or dimmer. Was wondering if the Icon had a metal housing though and I like that you can rotate it farther and it’s only like 30 bucks!

Yes I think it's aluminum. The one I have has been dropped so many times still works perfect. Even left it under a truck for awhile driving around never fell off! You can see the metal under the black coating where it's been dropped.
$54.99 online at HF, $59.99 at HF store but i do recall them being $29.99 a few months back, but due to the popularity, the price has gone way up
Forgot to add, most people don't know this. But the big brand trucks often are just rebranded from other companies. Harbor Freight is starting to catch up on quality. I still feel like Milwaukee makes the best electric tools and they come with a lifetime warranty.
Doesn't Milwaukee only have a 5 year warranty

Can u use light while charging
Let’s be real, Harbor Freight just copies everyone else’s products but I’m all for it. I love me some harbor freight. Can’t beat the prices.

I have the Braun version of that light. The highest lumens is 750 and it gets powerful warm real fast. Y’all that have the ICON version, does it do that?
Yep. Gets pretty warm and is 3x as bright. Lasts about 4 hours per charge on high.
ICON is absolutely killing it. Better stock up now since it’s only a matter of time before they truly explode in popularity and price
What is a lumen?
Hold the button down it'll change brightness levels. You think they'd charge $7,548 for that light and only have one on/off setting? Lol
I had one of the snap on ones as did a co-worker and I must say he lost his and I sold mine because I hated it and I really don't sell many tools but just did not like it at all

Will it work while charging
Yes it will, but keep using it while it charges and the life span will shorten real quick. I left it plugged in overnight while on and forgot about it. After that it would not work unless it was plugged in.

I like those but they attach to your forehead. I don't recommend the Snap-On one. It tends to fall off its casing while you're working.
My lens got hot and melted on mine
Went to my harbor freight and it was 55 dollars
