For me, Richard Greene immortalized the character of Robin Hood. He was to Robin Hood what Johnny Weismuller was to Tarzan, and what Clayton Moore was to The Lone Ranger: the quintessential Robin Hood -- there can never be another, in my mind, at least.

I remember this as a boy , great stuff .
have this series on dvd now, it's my prize possession.
